The meal here revived my spirits so much! The kind owner explained everything on the menu to me and helped me choose very well. The red scorpion fish (2nd option on the fish menu) was the best dish I have had on my month lone trip through Spain. It was simple, fresh, home made and the texture is perfect. I loved trying the local quince jelly, paired with cheese and walnut it had a multilayer taste. The restaurant has a vaulted ceiling and a nice almost monastic atmosphere, but all the diners were locals and many came by themselves. When all the bachelors come to take their leisurely lunch, you just know this is a good place! The owner was lovely and generous, I was able to use their wifi and charge my phone at my table. We had some very mixed feelings. The owner was lovely and very kind, explaining Catalan food to us. We were greeted with a Clorox bottle-sized extra virgin olive oil, small pieces of bread, cured meat, and omelet. Here it costs 17 euros/ person. This is the best price on the market, but we doubted the quality of the food. In vain! Everything was top-notch. The choice of dishes, portions, quality, test and service completely amazed us. Lady Isa, who served us, was friendly and hospitable.
