We were so looking forward to visiting having read the reviews on Google. We arrived and were greeted by a rude guy shouting "NO DOGGS!". We asked could we not take the very well behaved dog in the outside garden we were abruptly told "NO!", No explanation, no apology, no " why don't you try X down the road" We drove 1km to "The Stagger Inn" who were super friendly and the food was excellent. Great wee Cafeteria style bar. Basic furniture, outstanding service, magnificent beer garden and purveyor of the best toastie in the world. Brie, bacon, cranberry and caramelised onion. Worthy of a trip from Auchtermuchty just to sample.
