GOOD ESPRESSO & BON BON, OKAY BAGELS & CAKES

Good espresso and bon bon, but the americano was not a true americano (espresso + hot water), but instead some sort of pot coffee and was not very good. The bagels were okay, nothing to write home about. Bonus for also having gluten free bread! I visited late July 2025 for the first time and tried their menu del dia, I was on my own. For 15€ I thought it was very good value. I had a beer, there was a large tuna salad, lovely toasted bread with alioli and crushed tomato. My starter was filled mussel shells in breadcrumbs. La atención recibida el 01/01/25 entorno a las 16hs dejó mucho que desear. Llamamos antes para confirmar si estaban abiertos y nos dijeron que sólo podian ofrecer servicio de cafetería. Cuando llegamos el camarero no nos dejó ni pasar de la puerta diciendo que sólo podían dar servicio fuera, que dentro estaban dando un servicio de comidas. Cuando entré al baño pude ver que tenían 2 meses de 2 sitios cada una libres y una mesa de 4sitios libres donde perfectamente nos podían haber acomodado (éramos 5). Ya habíamos llegado hasta allí y aceptamos servirnos fuera aunque por el fresco no era de nuestro agrado. De las tortas que tenían un par no podíamos elegirlas porque las "tenían resevadas". Mi hijo pidió un frappe y le dijeron que estaban muy liados y que no podían hacérselo!!!! Pedimos dos tortas, trajeron una. Pedimos unos churros y les aseguro que eran de los peores que hemos comido en años. Y antes de nosotros decir nada, el camarero nos trajo la cuenta para que pagaramos. Aún estábamos comiendo... ¿Y si queríamos algo más? No. Claramente te invitan a irte de un lugar así.

Señores, en mi familia hemos tenido restaurantes desde hace más de 40 años. Si ustedes creen que el servicio que estaban dando dentro era tan complejo como para atender así a otros comensales no tienen idea lo que es un servicio complejo.
