Indian balti restaurant — Restaurant in Fuengirola

What a fantastic restaurant. I try to get here at least once a week, each time I am greeted with a menu and a nice cool, crisp pint of refreshing Cobra. Before I even look at the menu, how can you beat that for service?

On top of the great service, it is backed up by some fabulous food. You don't just order from the menu at the Indian Balti. They talk to you to understand the level of heat you enjoy and tailor your dish to that level. Last week I dared to go a little hotter than usual and and it was very hot, but it was lovely and I will definitely have that again.

I have worked through all of the rice options that accompany my curry and it is hard to pick a favorite as they are all so good. I think it is a toss up between the Keema or the Fruit rice, but the good news is that there are no bad choices, they could all be favorites.

I can sum up in one sentence how good this restaurant is.

First of all I don’t no where all these 5 star reviews have come from, I rely on reviews when looking for new places to eat so reading all these made me choose to come here…big mistake!! Probably the worst Indian my family have ever eaten, 3 of us had chicken korma and tikka masala the chicken was really hard to eat the sauces for both didn’t taste like a normal korma/masala would taste, the other dish was tandoori on the bone which came out a little piece of thigh and a bone which had hardly any meat on it I wouldn’t even say it was a child size portion. The quality of food was awful! Over charged for children’s drinks even tho we didn’t get a choice for a small or large. Will not...

Excellent food, better than any in my local area back home! We had onion bhaji to start which was really good, we also had meat samosa but that was a little dry, not the best we've had.

The garlic naan with the main was super garlicky but we like that, personal preference.

For main we had prawn sag, chicken tikka masala, lamb jalfrezia and a chicken dish I can't remember the name of but I tried all the dishes because I'm that guy! And all were top notch!!

Service with a hand shake and a smile and prices for the quality of the food was very reasonable, for 4 we paid €90 Inc. Lots of drinks.
