Sawasdee — Restaurant in Fuengirola

We went here because a good friend told ua about Sawasdee. 2 adults and 2 kids. It was fully booked. Make a reservation!

Friendly staff, with attention. Though they can smile a bit more 😀.

Good menu with dishes having chicken, beef or shrimps. Also many variations of rice. We had the chicken panang with thre egg fried rice. The kids had the spring rolls and the chicken satay. Also for all to share, the egg fried rice with chicken. Last dish was the duck sawasdee with the hoi sin sauce.

We were stuffed! But to the right level. Nestea, water with bubbles and a bottle of white Marques de caceres.

Table had enough space. Chairs were good. In this time of year, mid february, they have heaters. Parking in front and around the restaurant.

Lets start with saying we love Thai food, so we think of ourselves as a big fan, and as a result we have eaten a lot of Thai food. We have had Thai food in the UK, Spain, South Africa, and many other places except in Thailand because we have not been yet.

We have even eaten home-made Thai food, as a friend is married a Thai lady.

This has to be the best we have had, and as close as we have tasted to home-made Thai Food.

Their Massaman curry is amazing, and Green Curry is THE best I have had. Food is all freshly made, so you have to wait, but it is worth the wait.

We enjoyed the Dinner For Two here tonight. Our server Ploy was so lovely - funny and engaging. She really made our delicious meal even better. The starters came with two sauces (peanut and sweet chili) and were all flavourful and just lightly fried (not heavy or greasy which can sometimes be the case). Our favourite was the coconut prawns. The Cashew chicken had a fabulous flavour and we ordered the green curry with chicken instead of the recommended red curry beef.
