Madrid Playa Restaurante — Restaurant in Fuengirola

While walking down Paseo Maritimo and as temperatures were hitting the 90's we decided to drop into this chiringuito for a cold beer. Since then, we don’t waste our time and we always go straight to this place. Chiringuito Madrid Playa is a cool beachfront bar,the interior is lovely ,great decor and furnishings include a cool looking serving bar, the obligatory grill boat outside the chiringuito and plenty of seating options spread throughout this chiringuito both inside and outside looking out onto the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Paqui and Jose and family are always welcoming and friendly. The waiters we have known for many years and are also always friendly and very efficient. We have lunch every day and the food is fantastic. We ate there on our last night of our holiday and had roast lamb which was delicious. Sardines are always fantastic. They do a deal with the beach beds for an extra 2 euros you can have a bottle of Cava served to you in ice on the bed, just to make the visit perfect. Highly...

Me gustaría poder escribir una reseña, sea positiva o negativa, pero no es posible porque todavía podría estar esperando que me atendieran. Hay un cartel en el lado que dá a la playa, donde pone, pedir mesa en barra o esperar aquí a ser atendidos. Empecé yendo a la barra, saludo al camarero de la barra, me saluda, acto seguido baja la cabeza y sigue a lo suyo, pienso, estará muy liado, así que me quedo mirando hacia la puerta donde entran y salen los camareros. Cuando han pasado 7 camareros diferentes, por mi lado, sin preguntarme que si deseo algo, pienso, será que hay alguien encargado de las mesas y ellos no se han dado cuenta que no me han atendido. Pasa por mi lado un camarero con camisa blanca, y pienso, este chico debe ser el que me va atender, pues no, pasa por mi lado, me mira, y sigue su camino. Decido salirme al otro sitio, y despues de 10 min, viendo como los camareros nos miraban y pasaban olimpicamente, decidimos irnos a cenar a otro sitio.

Mi pregunta es..... Vuestro restaurante es un negocio que vive de la venta de vuestros productos, no? Porque si van los clientes y los ignorais como si fueran entes invisibles que sentido tiene?? Saludos y gracias por atenderme por aquí, ya que fisicamente allí no lo hicisteis.

Sobre que no existe un cartel en todo el chiringuito. El cartel está en la parte derecha del restaurante, justo antes de la entrada por la parte de la playa, pegado junto a otros dos carteles en A4 en un panel de madera con soporte de 3 patas, justo delante del cartel del ayuntamiento, color verde.

Sobre que tiene una camarera que se llama cristina ( y que es muy simpatica, no lo dudo, aunque yo no pude verla, estaría contestando reseñas ). Es curioso que diga usted que no tiene camareros, se colaría alguien, se puso el uniforme del restaurante y me gastó una broma de mal gusto, la de mirarme e ignorarme.

Usted es el encargado? Ahora entiendo como funciona de mal el restaurante del que se encarga.

Como encima, de mal funcionamiento, tiene usted la caradura de tratarme de mentiroso, hemos decidido las 3 personas que ibamos a cenar allí a ponerle mas reseñas negativas, ya se encarga usted de responderle con su exquisita autocritica. Saludos...

We walked in at 4pm and asked the waiter if he served food all day. He said, "yes." But then he rushed us to order food and the order was with us within seconds. I wanted to go to a relaxed beach restaurant and relax and drink wine... but he treated us like we were in McDonald's. What a shame that even during covid times .. when all tourists should be looked after.. we were treated as our custom didn't matter. I always tip.. but this time I didn't as I felt as I was wasn't treated fairly or valued. The truth was that they were closing at 5.30pm.

Also the icing on the cake is that my son wanted to sit in the shade and as soon as we got our food he started opening all the blinds so we were fully in the sun!? I am afraid .. I...
