First of all the food was excellent and is renowned as such with locals. Service was a little lacking as food was practically thrown on the table. They were quite busy with limited staff on the evening I visited. Seemed happier to look after local Spanish patrons (with free aperitifs) than tourists which was a shame as my food was superb and the newly refurbished surroundings are very pleasant. Food is reasonably priced and you can't argue with the freshness of the fish. Being charged for butter with our bread seemed a little mean and would have been better included in the price of bread itself. Desserts let the side down a little as they were pre prepared frozen ice-cream affairs that are quite common in this area. For my wife and I it was such a pleasent surprise ! Owner/Manager Raul whom we met has been at it for 32 years which is proof of what I am saying. Waiter/Sommelier “Antonio” will pair the perdect wine to your dish ! Main dish was a rice and seafood for two (which really should be called seafood with rice) which was delicious and perfectly cooked. Antonio suggested an “Alvariño” white wine from Galicia (northwest Spain) called “2Amigos”, impresive to say the...
