The Corner | Coffee | Pizza | Burger — Restaurant in Fuengirola

During my visit to The Corner Pizza and Burger in Fuengirola, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this cozy spot offers much more than just pizza and burgers. Their open sandwiches are absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, as seen in the photo.

The first slice was topped with creamy avocado, fresh tomatoes, fluffy scrambled eggs, and a sprinkle of poppy seeds—a perfect mix of freshness and comfort. The second one combined crisp vegetables with smoked salmon and cream cheese, creating a light yet satisfying bite with a gourmet touch. Both were served on hearty, rustic bread that held all the flavors together perfectly.

The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, with a casual charm that makes you want to sit down and take your time. Service was friendly and quick, adding to the overall positive experience.

Waited 30 minutes for 2 burgers, and when halfway through burger/chips, I find 2 different black hairs in my chips. I removed and continued eating. When I discover a 3rd hair, I call for the waiter, and tell her my matters. She takes my dish, and speaks to the manager, and comes back and adresses me like "A ginger" because my beard is red, and possibly it could come from that. I can accept that, but the 2 black hairs I removed on my own from my dish was not from my beard.

I am not "ginger" just bronze beard, so all in all, very offensive language from the staff. What kind of word to use against a paying customer?

Not keen to put a negative feedback, but this was below any type of service ive had in Fuengirola in many, many years. Rude and offensive.

My company and me, both saw that there was hair in my food, so wear a hairband when cooking food like any other kitchen!

Well, just to warn you the corner salads dressing is awful! It says on the menu to have mustard sauce with brown sugar, but it was basically brown sugar syrup, soooooo sweet and no acidity or taste of mustard at all. It would have been ok if there was just a little of it, but the whole salad including the thinnest slice of goat cheese ever seen on a salad was totally covered with it. I said about the sauce that it tastes more like caramel sauce but I was just told that the menu says what it is so thats that. I didn't eat the salad, because it was just too sweet. I mean the sauce would have been lovely with apple pie, but not salad. After a while I noticed a dark curly hair on the salad, I mentioned when I asked for the bill, no discount or anything. Ok, I didn't eat the salad any case, but really, there should be no hair in the food. And I can guarantee you 1000% the hair was not ours! My husbands burger was ok, 6/10, he said. A little cold and bland but edible. The waitress was nice, but unfortunately it does not...
