Go, go, go! As vegan Travelers, we always support 100% vegan restaurants when available. This place will please any kind of eater because the food is excellent, the service is great, and it has a lovely vibe. Felt like a traditional Spanish bar, even though the owner/chef is Argentinian, right down to the surly bartender (who turns out is very sweet, incredibly helpful, and the owner’s husband I think). We bellied up to the bar as there were no available tables, and ordered some traditional Spanish tapas/rationes. We tried the tortilla w/ chorizo (in Spain, this is like a thick frittata made with egg, onion, and potatoes), the no-squid bocadillo, the “bacon” bocadillo, empanadas, and some beer and wine. We tried the home made burger, empanadas, tortilla, Argentinan pizza, everything was so delicious. The sweet treats from the cabinet are just to die for ( we have tried lavender, pistachio, walnut and white chocolate) after our first visit, we came back two times. The atmosphere is super nice and cozy. The family who runs the place is so nice and welcoming. Very nice people☺ we will always...

Cozy little space with lovely people 😍 The owner, an Argentinian lady, speaks very good English and took care of us right away, giving us the English menu, explaining, and recommending the dishes. The food was fresh and made with love, it was nice to try vegan versions of traditional dishes, something new for us. We went there for lunch and even returned the next day for breakfast to try the potato tortillas. The cakes were delicious as well, with something different every day. My favorite place in Gijon—thank you for the...
