Vesta Restobar & Pizzería — Restaurant in Gijón

Incredible experience in this Uruguayan/Italian establishment. From the beginning when entering the restaurant the environment felt super pleasant as we were welcomed right away by the nice service team and seated to our table. After a couple of minutes we were already asked what we would like to drink and there was nothing that you could miss (extra point for the selection of "Alhambra Reserva 1925"). After a recommendation from the kitchen I ordered a "Chivito" and I must say that the taste goes beyond any regular Hamburger/Sandwich that I have eaten before! Besides that we also had to try the award-winning "Pizza Vesta" and we haven't been dissapointed. World class preparation and a big compliment to the Chef at this point! For dessert I can definitely recommend the "Torta Diamanta" which consists in different mouses out of "dulce de leche" y chocolate.

Mixed with the smooth and relaxing music selection I would repeat this gourmet experience any time and can only encourage everyone to try out the different types of flavours that Vesto Restobar is preparing for you.

Our dining experience was exceptional. One of the owners greeted us, and answered our questions, as we reviewed the menu outside the entrance doorway. As we waited inside at our table, after ordering our food, we admired the serene and magical environment, decorated tastefully, and with varieties of colored flowers and greenery to brighten the restaurant environment. Our two pizzas were delicious, and each came with its own pair of scissors to cut the crust! Such a fun treat! The staff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. We took photos of the food, and restaurant, to share with our friends and relatives, and we plan to return every time we are...

Me gustaría ponerle una mejor reseña, la comida lo merece, pero no así la atención y mucho menos donde nos pusieron a cenar a pesar de ir con reserva.

No puede ser que por querer abarcar más de lo que pueden, cojan mil reservas y a nosotros nos sienten en una mesa baja que tienen nada mas entrar a la derecha la cual la mesa es baja y pequeña, eso es para tomar un café, no para cenar, mesa y sillón muy pero que muy bajo, si mides mas de 1,80 cuando te sientes, las rodillas te sobrepasarán las orejas, en la mesa no caben bien las dos pizzas, no cabe la bebida ni los vasos., es surrealista... Además la cosa no acaba ahí, anoche, con 7-8 grados en Gijón, te ponen al lado, pero a unos 20cm de la puerta, una puerta que se queda abierta y tuve que cerrar unas 20 veces para intentar no congelarme mientras ceno.

Lo dicho, por muy buena que sean las pizzas, cosas como estas, te hacen ver que no es un sitio que merezca la pena, pague lo mismo que los demás clientes, sin embargo tuve un trato infinitamente peor que cualquiera, si hago la reserva y solo queda esa mesa, lo mínimo es dignarse a llamar y decirlo.

En cuanto a la comida, tanto la pizza vesta como la 4 estaciones muy buenas.

Los postres no sé, pedimos el crepe de dulce de leche, pero como tenían mucha gente, no lo podían hacer...

Total, que no lo recomendaría, para volver a un sitio, aparte de tener buena comida, tienes que atender bien, tratar a todos los clientes por igual y no abarcar mas de lo...
