UPDATED REVIEW: The pizza is no longer Detroit-style :( it is more like a flatbread. And the quality has gone down a little - some of the pizzas are too wet, like the American one with honey. I still like it but it isn't the same as before. FYI kitchen closes a lot earlier than the closing time, I think around 23:00.

Old review: Honestly, it's the best pizza I have had in Spain. I am from Michigan and have family in Detroit, the location of the original "Detroit-style pizza," which this pizzeria specializes in. I have not been able to find any other Detroit-style pizza in Spain; it is my absolute favorite and I was sad to not have it when I moved here from America. Luckily, we found Zio Pig and it is perfect!! They also have very creative and unique pizzas, all of which are delicious, and a large selection of craft beers. They even have vegan pizza and will remove meat for vegetarians. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and they are dog friendly. And to top it all off, they are open late! We will continue to eat here...

ITALIAN STREET FOOD AND CRAFT BEERS. The menu has two main items: burgers and focaccias. The burgers are innovative creations featuring shiitake mushrooms and peanuts ("Bruce Lee") or porchetta and roasted onions ("Strepitosa"). There are also good salads if you want something fresh to start with. As for drinks, Zio Pig has five beers on tap, including IPAs from Gijón. Everything was utterly fantastic. My only complaints are that (i) the Caprese salad didn't come with bread and (ii) the burgers were served before we had finished the salad. But these are minor issues relative to the superb...

🍻 🍔 🍕 Birrería con una gran cantidad de cervezas craft y de importación, con una rotación de grifos increíble. Para comer se especializan en las focaccias, tienen una gran variedad. Hacen una ensalada de salmón riquísima. Y en carta disponen de 2 tipos de hamburguesas premium que están para chuparte los dedos. Si eres vegano, creo que hay una focaccia con vegetales (🍆 🤔).

😎 Ambiente: Muy bueno y tranquilo. Música rock 🤘 y una decoración grunge muy moderna. La cocina está a un lado de la barra y puedes ver cómo cocinan todo con un horno industrial. El embutido italiano que tienen es de gran calidad. El servicio es muy bueno. Todos son muy majos. Tienen mesas. No hay terraza, aunque no la echarás de menos. Son de esos locales reconfortante que te apetece estar dentro.

♿ Accesibilidad: Tiene una mesa grande a la entrada, si eres o vas con una persona con movilidad reducida o silla de ruedas, puedes comer allí. El resto de mesas están bajando dos pequeños peldaños. El baño está en el segundo piso, no accesible para personas con movilidad reducida.

🅿 Aparcamiento: Puedes aparcar cerca. En las calles de al lado con zona azul o en los parking de El Parchís o El Náutico.
