Restaurante Telúrico — Restaurant in Granada

A must try! A bit away from the super touristy area, but it's worth the extra few minutes to walk there to experience one of Granada's up and comming chefs! From the time we walked in, until we walked out the door everything was amazing. We chose to have the chef choose our food, and she did an amazing job of showcasing her talents. The fusion of Moroccan, Greek, and Spanish food was spectacular! The couscous with vegetables had wonderful flavor and the sauce was a great addition, the spicy "shrimp" were so good that someone at the table ate the sauce by itself when the shrimp were gone. I could go on.... My favorite part....Alex the waiter and chef, Dalilah (sp?), coming to say hello. Alex was kind and had a great sense of humor. He dealt with the crazy Spanglish at the table, was patient, taught me a few things, and wanted to learn from us. Oh, and his service was top notch. He anticipated our needs, and made us all feel welcomed. The chef was just the same!...

The food was great and it was a very cute place (but the chairs could be more comfortable). The problem was the service. The server was nice to your face but while she went around to the two other tables with diners many times to check on them (without being asked to come over by those people), she reused to make eye contact so we could get her attention. She took our drink order, she brought the drinks, she took the food order, brought it and then we were dead to her until we finally got her attention to pay the bill. We wanted to order more but by then we were done spending money in their restaurant. The only thing we could guess as to why she treated us that way was that the other two were Spanish and...

I wasn’t going to give a review but you (owner) seem a bit salty and funny with your comment but not ur fault. I and two elderly women came all the way from Mojacar on the 15th of June (after visiting Alhambra) hoping to have a lunch. I had checked and confirm that we would eat at the restaurant, upon getting there at 14:30, it was shut even though on the map it says open. We and many others were disappointed. You could at least put an update on days your restaurant is closed instead of coming here to say someone’s...
