3 stars? Why? It was overpriced, fairly busy, and had somewhat slow service. Mind you, the food was tasty, but then again, so is a Caesar salad you can prepare yourself at home for a fraction of the price.
Honestly, though, they took about 15 minutes for first and 20 more for the second dishes. The dessert were nice, but also very pricey, I am warning you, a slice of Cheesecake goes for 5.5€.
Fairly crowded, but without queues, the interior was well lit, and it was air-conditioned. It is a local restaurant, but the food was not specifically Catalan, rather rural, with a varied beef assortment if you are into that.

Read moreComimos de carta al tratarse de un domingo. Empezamos con una ensalada de tomates de Barbastro con burrata recomendada por el camarero. Buenísima a la par que sencilla: el tomate con todo el sabor de los "antiguos" tomates de huerta coronado con una gran bola de melosa burrata que al cortar se desparramaba por los brotes tiernos y el tomate (9/10). La otra ensalada era la Tres Colores: fresas, brie suave, cebolla, brotes tiernos y vinagreta de menta que le aportaba frescor sin empalagar (7,5/10). Y llegamos al momento de las carnes. Por un lado la entraña, que estaba al punto y se deshacía en la boca (8,5/10). Y por otro lado el chuletón de rubia (vaca 😅) de 500gr sin hueso que estaba gustosísimo, al más puro sabor de parrilla/barbacoa argentina aunque un pelín seca. Se pidió al punto y se sirvió bastante hecha (aunque no muy hecha). El chimichurri le dio el puntazo definitivo (8/10). Los postres remataron la faena: el coulant con chocolate y pistacho acompañado de bola de vainilla estaba muy rico (8/10) y el panqueque de chocolate, nueces y nata, sencillo pero también muy rico (7/10).
