A group of 6 of us went for lunch on Wednesday this week. 4 people chose fresh fish from the fish counter. It arrived not as a whole fish on the bone but pulled from the bone and piled up in a mass. Apparently, it was OK, but not as expected. I ordered tuna, which again was ok. It did not seem to be entirely fresh and was not tender but a bit over cooked and disappointing. We all had canarian potatoes but all felt these were reheated and not freshly cooked. If I am wrong about the cooking or any of this then I apologise but 5 of us were disappointed. One person had pork tenderloin and enjoyed that. There was no point sending the food back as I think it was just the standard of the restaurant. More over, pigeons and sparrows landed on tables and chairs all over the outside area and the chairs had bird poo marks all over them. Several of us were wearing white and wiped down the chairs before sitting down. Nice location but I doubt we would return to that restaurant. Staff very helpful and...
Read moreStaff were very helpful even though they struggled with English and we with Spanish, food and drink was top drawer - fresh and tasty. We went three times; once for brunch/drink and twice for dinner.
Is on decking right on the seafront, though all you can see at night really is a beach shower, some dark sand and the nearby harbour wall where kids play sometimes, we saw a pretty light up skipping rope being used.
We saw a rat scuttle by on the sand, but these live on all beaches and we saw nothing bad in the restaurant area itself. It was very clean and smelt fresh.
Dog friendly, kids welcome.
They do give you breads you don't ask for and bill you three euros for these. We decided to eat them and pay. They show up on the reciept. This is common practice in the area and if you do not want these, you must politely decline at the moment of them being placed on your table.
They were better breads than we were given elsewhere.
I would eat here again. The menus are in...
Read moreWe were just here to get a little something for lunch. Located directly at the tiny fishing port, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the sea. The service was quite fast in the order admission and the service was ok. Even if it took some time until the food came, although the restaurant was rather empty. The prices are quite high for such a small village, but also here one has to pay tribute to the tourism on the island. Surprising was then the portion size of the scrambled egg with the cod, it was rather small for 9,50€ and also the fish was only present in a very small amount. The same was unfortunately also with the fish croquettes, which had the same price. All in all a nice place with a nice view, but nothing for a small snack. The big, fried or grilled fish on the neighboring plates looked much better, but also had much...
