rrible experience here with my daughter. We didn't even get a chance to ask for a seat. The waitress was screaming and shouting so loudly at us , everyone was looking and this was before we even opened our mouths to speak. A customer told us she wanted us to walk back to the entrance and wait. But we had already done that and when she began shouting we assumed she wanted us out of there so we walked round to the restaurant. I said in Spanish " Can We have ...... that's as far as I got before she screamed at me... waving her arms like a demented octopus..We walked out but not before my daughter told her and anyone else in earshot what she thought of her. We walked back into the" reception " or whatever it is and she began shouting at us again. We asked for the manager, no, she didn't speak english.we asked in Spanish, No manager we were told. We asked for the complaints book in both English and Spanish and we were told No. So we asked for police .....she walked out. Another waiter came and said aww young waitress no understand... firstly she wasn't young and second she understood alright when we asked for the complaints book. We also asked him for it but he too refused. Horrible staff and I don't care what the food is like but nobody should be treated like that. Nasty...
Read morePopped in for lunch around 1 pm on a whim. It was not too busy when we arrived, and we were quickly seated and provided with menus. We picked a table with a nice view of the sea. We were quickly offered drinks and given bread. We were soon asked if we were ready to order, in good time, without it feeling rushed. We ordered some canarian potatoes, avacado with tuna, and garlic king prawns. It all arrived surprisingly quickly, and was pefectly good. Not haute-cuisine, but tasty, and well prepared and presented. Once again, in good time, without it seeming over rushed we were asked if we wanted coffee or desert, but we opted for the bill, which arrived promptly and which we settled in cash. I have no idea if there were any other options. The staff were pleasant and friendly and spoke far better English than I could ever hope to speak Spanish, and seemed equally at home dealing with the other tourists who arrived soon after us. All in all it seemed a pretty professional, well run establishment, with happy friendly staff. If you are staying in, or passing through Arrieta you could do worse than give this restaurant...
Read moreWe were yesterday spontaneously in this lovely restaurant. We were assigned a nice table from which we could enjoy the beautiful view. The very attentive waiter recommended us the fish platter and the corresponding local white wine. In addition, we chose as an appetizer champions with garlic which came briskly and was well prepared. The fish platter was sensationally good and huge. A perfectly grilled perch, sardines, shrimp and octopus. Everything cooked to the point, tender and finely seasoned. It was a taste experience. We thank the great team for this beautiful evening recommend this restaurant 100% to every fish lover. Since we are fortunately still a few days here we will be...
