Restaurante Pizzeria ANIMA IBIZA — Restaurant in Ibiza

We read the postive reviews of this place because we were situated in the hotel next to Anima. It looked very nice, but i have to be honest about this one... for non-Italian speaking people it wasn't very welcoming. The waiters speak mostly Italian (a little bit weird, but okay, it adds to the italian food :)). As soon as we started speaking English, the waiters were not that enthousiastic anymore. With the Italian (speaking) customers they were very personal and nice, but they litterally did not say a word to English speaking guests. They just give you your plate, and a face like please hurry up and get out of here". Now I was hoping that the waiters character was the only bad thing.. but the pizza was truely shocking. Bad undercooked dough, way to much ricotta in the Calzone (a little bit weird also in a Calzone) and the other pizza was also way undercooked. Sorry to say, but not a very...

Absolutely disgraceful service we ordered pizzas and carbonara, the carbonara smelt and tasted like cow manure as something was clearly gone off. We very politely alerted the waitress who then was immediately annoyed before we had even started speaking and took the carbonara from the table and at the end of the meal expected us to pay for the carbonara that was not eaten this was then followed by speaking to in a foul manner making absolutely horrible nasty comments to customers and speaking in Spanish to other customers about us after waiting for our bill for nearly an hour with the food we did eat she slammed the receipt on the table and after we said thank you she followed with thank you for nothing. I could not believe the way we were spoken to...

We attempted to eat here. Since it was one of the last weeks of the season, they thought it was acceptable to serve pizzas with half of the ingredients missing without informing the guests. They don’t really want to meet a certain standard here but would rather give you a poor version of a meal to make some money. Then, you’re basically stared out of the place, and the owner/chef doesn’t have the decency to resolve the issue at the table. Instead, they put a young girl in the service under pressure all evening, and in the end, there was a weak compensation after spending almost €400, which didn’t even come from the person responsible. We had to ask for it ourselves…..

Go somewhere else if u want to be treated...
