STK IBIZA — Restaurant in Ibiza

Tonight my self and my partner dined at “STK” something I was very much looking forward to as an avid steak connoisseur. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations.

Let me talk you through it…….

We were welcomed by friendly and cheerful staff and led to a table about as far away from the main entertainment area as you could get, at this point I wished I had remembered my binoculars or perhaps a telescope…. But not to worry I sat down and just accepted I would just give me eye balls a good straining tonight. Then a very attentive waiter named “Facu” came to take our order no complaints about him he was great.

The food was delicious I had a large Peri peri prawn to start and then we shared chateaubriand and several sides. My only complaint about the food is they filled the bottom half of the bowl containing truffle chips with paper. Essentially short chaining me out of half a bowl of chips but hay ho never mind I let it slip. The drinks were as I expected nice but expensive.

What really disappointed me and my partner was the fact that they filled the bar with people completely obstructing our view of any of the entrainment or the stage.

My understanding of the premium level pricing is that you get “entertainment” with your meal? My entertainment tonight was watching the the side profiles of a large group of lairy “Lads” at the bar something I don’t normally need to spend €300 doing.

Finally as i left the building one the “lads” I mean gentlemen from the bar decided he wanted to pull me aside and comment on my shoulder width and then proceeded to jokingly tell me to “fuck off” he had obviously been using your exquisite toilets to smell his keys repeatedly as his pupils were like pins and he was rather sweaty and speaking at 100 miles an hour. Your door staff seemed rather disinterested in his behaviour.

DON´T GO! If you want to have a better and higher quality dinner this is NOT.

Roughly speaking the restaurant is ok but it's sold for a thing that does not reflect a proper value.

I have spent more than 700,00€ for 2 pax but I'm only gonna remember it for the RIDICULOUS EXPERIENCE.

FOOD quality was OK. The SERVICE probably the WORST. DINING Area BAD.

Reason for this detailed review is that I got charged double the amount and them not even reaching out after such a big mistake from their side.

After making them aware per email the "VIP & Guest Experience Director" reached out to me per phone call and per messages trying to understand the issue even if this could have understood with out me loosing additional time.

After weeks I did not receive one proper sorry except an invitation of a free upgrade which obviously I find embarrassing since they unfairly deducted money from me claiming it as "rather technical problem".

I suggested for a voucher for all this stress besides the unfortunate dinner experience but they only suggested to ask to be served by the Manager which I gently declined.

Please DON`T GO!

The funds got refunded from my CC after going through the expenses. You deducted an important amount and acted like you could not...

Arrived for the 10:30 seating.

Had a reservation- RESTAURANT AREAS The Black Carpet – Main area – Located closer to the Stage with Signature STK booths. The whole point of making a reservation in the booth is so they can see the show. It was impossible to see the show. My table was literally in the back of the restaurant not facing the stage… what’s the point. I complained they said that was the only seat they had available. And there’s a bunch of seats like that as well and other people were complaining..

FOOD Absolute terrible food. Bread in the picture was hard as a rock. The espresso martini had zero vodka. Caesar salad was overdressed and soggy. The tuna tartare was fishy and possibly spoiled. The main course fishes. The Seabass and the cod were both rubbery and over salted. The vegetables on the plate were not much better. The macaroni and cheese. The noodles undercooked and the cheese was watery. The service was unresponsive to my requests for moving my seat. They also said if I don’t like the food / basically to-bad. The minimum spend per person was around €150. I just told the server to charge me the $ I got out of my seat , because I could not see from my table and watched the ok dancers and called it a night.
