🌊🇮🇹 Trattoria del Mar – A Must-Visit Spot in Ibiza for Italian Food Lovers!

Last night I had the chance to dine at Trattoria del Mar in Ibiza, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. The restaurant is located right by the Marina Botafoch, offering stunning views of the harbor and the yachts lined up along the dock. The ambiance is romantic, relaxed, and just perfect whether you’re on a date or out with friends.

I ordered: 🍝 Paccheri all’astice e gamberi – Large paccheri pasta served with lobster and prawns in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce. 🐟 Branzino al sale con verdure miste – Salt-baked sea bass served with mixed grilled vegetables. The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection tender, flaky, and so satisfying.

Everything I tasted was delicious and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Service was so friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was quite busy.

📌 Tip: It gets very crowded in the evening, so I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance especially if you want a table with the best view.

You walk into the marina and the setting and interior of the restaurant is great. You get seated by the host outside and you ask for a table where maybe smoking is possible. She responses that it is not allowed. You sit down get your entree. You order 2 bottles of wine. And the service of the waiters is so good. But a few minutes later she brings the biggest ashtray to another table. After asking why, she didn’t respond. And seated us in the back corner of the terrace where the table wasn’t ready to sit. We didn’t have our main yet. And instead of bringing our half full bottle of wine. She takes it away. And did not allow the rest of the staff to come help us. I have never met a more rude hostess in my life. It ruins the great service the rest of the staff gives you. But the problem is the manager or owner allowing this insane behavior. El restaurante que visité está ubicado en Marina Botafoc Evissa, en Ibiza, una de las zonas más prestigiosas y hermosas de la isla. Con vistas al puerto y a los yates de lujo, este lugar crea una atmósfera única para almorzar o cenar. Los alrededores añaden un toque de sofisticación, y las luces nocturnas reflejadas en el agua hacen que la experiencia culinaria sea especialmente agradable.

Probé varios platos, destacando la pizza y la pasta con trufa. La pizza se cocinó en un horno de leña, con una masa fina y crujiente y ingredientes frescos de alta calidad. La pasta con trufa fue una verdadera obra maestra culinaria; el aroma a trufa era intenso pero equilibrado, y la textura de la pasta era impecable.

Además, la carta de vinos me impresionó con un excelente vino italiano que combinaba perfectamente con los platos.
