Don't go here if you want good service. I ordered a scampi pasta from the menu, as it was, with no changes. When I received the pasta, it was lemon butter pasta with no scampi. When I questioned, they sent it back and returned with the same pasta, but this time with ICE COLD (from the fridge/freezer) RAW scampi. I questioned what on earth that was, and was told "the chef thought you might like to try something different"! Er NO! Why would I?! I just wanted the pasta from the menu that I ordered! I then asked to cancel as by this point, 45 minutes had gone by, and they said they will send me one again complimentary. Finally I received the pasta from their menu, even though by this point I wasn't even hungry, but then they cheekily included it on the bill. We asked to have it taken off and our unapologetic waitress behaved very rudely and said "you guys complain about everything"!! We were shocked. In addition to this, not as big of an issue, but they will open bottles of water and charge you for it without you even asking for it or consuming it. The service at the point of taking money from people ends up going from bad to worse. I'm not sure what these waitresses think of themselves, but we are paying guests, paying a high price for a high-end restaurant. And in the nicest way possible, a restaurant they wouldn't be able to afford to dine in themselves. So how on earth do they think it's acceptable to behave this way with customers that aren't even rude and aren't at fault either?! Atmosphere wasn't even great either. We chose IT over Zuma - bad mistake! Won't ever be...
Read moreWe had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant and left feeling outright scammed. As a large group, we were barely seated before the staff began opening and pouring bottled water into our glasses—without asking. These bottles cost €9–€10 each, and we had to stop them ourselves. Same with the bread: brought out in large quantities without request, then charged around €30. Completely unacceptable. It got worse. Some of us ordered steak clearly listed at €40–€50 on the menu, yet the bill showed €70 per steak. When questioned, we were told the chef “chose a better cut” for us—without any consent. That’s not an upgrade, that’s dishonest upselling. After pushing back, they suddenly "found" a new price of €49, still inconsistent with the menu. Prices here seem to shift based on how much you argue. We combed through the bill and found even more discrepancies: drinks we never ordered (like Coke Zero) and extra water bottles we didn’t consume. One was even placed on our table just before we asked for the check—clearly an attempt to inflate the bill. The pasta? Over-salted and forgettable, though it looked decent. Honestly, that’s the only thing they got remotely right. If you're in a group—especially more than four—be extremely cautious. They’ll try to rush you, push unordered items, and inflate prices without notice. The service turns cold and defensive the moment you start questioning the charges. We won’t be back. Blacklisted. Check your bill—twice—if...
Read moreWow! OK, let’s get the negative out of the way. It’s pricey. BUT the food is absolutely divine. The atmosphere is cool, laid back, sophisticated and it’s on a beautiful spot on the marina. Our waitress and Maxim were fantastic. Made us feel extremely welcome.
Onto the food: Burrata cheese and cherry tomatoes - this has got to be the best burrata I have ever tasted. Apparently it’s from one tiny village in Sardinia, but don’t quote me. I’d had a few Old Fashioneds by the time I asked.
Tomato salad - difficult to mess up. Fresh tomatoes, subtle herbs. Very good.
Tagliolini lemon and langoustines - the lemon went right through the pasta. It tasted so fresh that the langoustines were a bonus. Apparently when you order it they make the pasta right there and then. No wonder it tasted sublime.
Old Fashioned - served with a large ice cube as it should be. Accompanied the food well.
A selection of wines my friend drank. She said they were exquisite.
Definitely will return and try the one in...
