Bodegón el aronero — Restaurant in Icod de los Vinos

We visited this place with my husband and 3 kiddos several times during our 6 week stay in Tenerife in spring 2021. It feels like a very authentic local place with delicious food and friendly owners and staff. Their red mojo and huevos rotos I will dream about till I come there again. The grilled meats and gulashes are great, too. They also make their fries themselves and we all appreciated that a lot! The portions are big so they are perfect for sharing with your companion. It would be useful if you speak some Spanish when you go there but if you don't, like us, it just adds up to the experience. If we come to Tenerife again, Rincon de Mari will be one...

Bueno voy a empezar por lo bueno q no es mucho y luego paso a lo malo.Lo bueno el chico amable q atiende es amable, el sitio es tranquilo ,la comida está decente y por último el precio es bastante bueno, éramos 10 personas y tocamos a 11€ por persona.Pasando a lo malo,primero q td nd mas entra fue sentarse en la mesa y ver como cada plato de los diez q había estaban sucios como si no los lavaran,lo segundo, el pan no era de ayer sino de hace mínimo una semana,bastante pésimo semejante piedra de harina a la q llaman pan,junto con los panes trajeron los cubiertos los cuales estaban mojados y con restos de algo.En cuanto al tiempo de espera dejó bastante q desear ,ya q entre plato y plato te daba tiempo si querías a hacer la digestión y por último algunos platos llegaron fríos o simplemente demasiado hechos. Resumen mi experiencia no fue la mejor y esto solo es una crítica para q puedan mejorar en un futuro y no tengan malas experiencias el resto...
