Did a reservation yesterday for tonight and when we arrived they had canceled it without giving a reason and without letting us know in advance. Horrible service and exorbitant prices since the new owners took over. As residents, we enjoyed this place a lot, even during the winter season, but now they only cater for the tourist who won’t come back. The comments of the owners on ratings published here are absolutely disgusting. Obviously they have no idea when to just apologize and shut up. *** Edit *** Read below the nasty entitled comments by the wannabe tough owner. You are ruining your reputation with the Alcaidesa community. We made a reservation for Saturday on Friday when we spent 60+ Euros for mediocre arroz and „pinta“ (which everywhere else means 50cl and not 30cl like at your place) and you or your incompetent manager canceled the reservation for Saturday. Get your head out of your lower back and provide some decent service or just close for good and we might get a professional owner to run what was a great place all year round until two years ago

Generally a pleasant place to go. The place can be very busy. Went today at midday and found every table reserved. They have installed more awnings so less likely to be broiled alive. I have persevered with this place for a year, but today takes the biscuit. Ordered an 'Inglese', essentially a full English breakfast. Took twenty minutes to arrive, bacon was disgusting. It looked like slices of pork belly, thrown on a griddle for twenty seconds and dripping so much fat they had stuck a napkin underneath it that then stuck to the food. Delicious. Picked up a piece, it must have been 60% fat As usual didn't get our full order orange juice never arrived. And dont get me started on the toast.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible experience at DBlanco Chiringuito! The fresh seafood was out of this world — perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Every dish we tried felt like a celebration of Mediterranean quality and care. The staff were amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location, the vibe, the service... everything combined made it feel like a little slice of paradise by the sea. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!

We live on the beachfront in Alcaidesa, D’Blanco is literally 30m from our house. Having heard a lot of mixed reviews, we decided to give it a go and form our own opinion! We were not at all disappointed, the employees are fantastic, always ready to greet with a familiar hello.

The service is fantastic, sometimes they are very busy, so just relax with your drink and enjoy the relaxing view of the beach and the ocean, with Gibralta thrown in for good measure. The food is nothing short of fantastic. Order the tuna carpaccio with avacado, the puntalitas are amazing, fresh fish cooked on the grill and if you are a meat lover try the hamburger (it won’t disappoint).

The bartender makes a mean Mojito just the way you like it. We were fortunate to get a table to watch the Euro cup final…the atmosphere was amazing, singing, dancing even had our faces painted with the Spanish flag…truly a night to remember!

Add D’Blanco to your list of Great Chiringuito’s…You’ll be glad...

Ok so it's the only beach bar/restaurant open all year and the last one on the whole costa del sol (open all year on the beach), it's a nice spot and the place isn't too shabby or up-market, but imho it doesn't justify the prices they charge for the food, which i itself is fine, but just not at ~15€+ a plate, and these aren't even "raciónes" in the Spanish sense, we had the calamar there last year, it was vey nice, this time (02/17) had cazon and it was indistinguishable from some frozen from the supermarket...ymmv They do have a vegan section which will please some, but the offerings weren't very impressive, ie vegan burger - basics falafel made into a burger... Go there, enjoy a drink but be warned if you want a good feed up, you won't be getting best value around (which in the immediate...
