Bar La Croquetería — Restaurant in La Oliva

We arrived late and this little place was beside where we were staying. Having read the reviews we decided to go. The staff (and gentlemen drinking at the bar) were so friendly. This is one of those little gems that you would walk past on your way to somewhere else, but I would definitely say to give it a try. Food was delicious. We tried 3 different croquette along with a salad and some chips. Best chips we have had in a long time. Bottle of lovely wine was only €14. Fantastic experience. Go here if you want a more local dining experience, away from the touristy area. They offered a set menu at lunchtime until around 16:00. I had the russian salad, pork and potatoes and fruit salad for dessert. It was such good value for money. The waiter was very friendly and helpful too. Small place serving 8 kinds of croquetas and the menu of the day (aka fresh food). Honestly, everything was delicious and the place had very homely vibes, also thanks to the lovely waiter.
