El Farolito is a great choice for a meal or for a special dinner, and lovely food is served throughout the visit. I came here with my family and we definitely didn’t regret it! There is about a 10-15 minute wait for food, but it is totally worth it! For starters I always get the garlic bread, and it is probably the best in Corralejo. 10 minutes later we got our mains; I had a bolognaise and it was delicious, 10/10! And the lasagna is heavenly, but if you get the chance, TRY THE RIBS!!! There are so soft, tender and they literally fall off the bone. This delicious meal is definitely worth a shot! My mum got a Caesar salad and she insists it is definitely the best. If you want dessert, the chocolate sausage is the way to go; I don’t know this amazing recipe, but if I did, my life would revolve around it! The waiters are very nice and never get a bit annoyed. They are very grateful and also will thank you for leaving them a review. It is quite cheap but food is always top quality, and overall El Farolito is a very...
Read moreWe had high expectations given the fabulous rating, but were disappointed and could not understand why the excellent reviews. This place was very basic. The food was so-so, we had garlic prawns and garlic bread to start, then chicken and ceasar salad. The garlic prawns were in a broth/sauce with toasted baguette slices, quite tasty but nothing to write home about. Ditto the garlic bread. The chicken was a standard roasted chicken with Canarian potatoes. The ceasar salad was fine, but very heavy on the croutons that were just basic white bread, no seasoning. I took half of them out, at which point the size of the salad went down by about half. The chicken in the salad was very tough. The redeeming factor to all this was the service, the waiter was a lovely guy, very friendly. We paid 45 euros with tip which is the highest we have paid for dinner since we arrived in Fuerteventura, yet we have had far better meals. Definitely not...
Read moreDisappointed. We came here after reading the glowing reviews and can honestly say we wish we hadn't bothered. A very friendly welcome and a reasonable menu choice. We had starters which were fine and then had the ribs and steak entrecote and was extremely disappointed. The steak was fatty and tough It was cooked medium rare and should have been succulent but it wasn't. A cheap cut of steak.. We had steak elsewhere and it was great. The ribs were so fatty I refused to eat them. To be fair the waiter offered some other menu choice but at that point we wanted to go. We stayed in corralejo for a week and this was honestly the worst meal in our time there. Really don't understand the hype of this restaurant. If you go then enjoy...
