Sunset Lounge — Restaurant in La Oliva

i came here on the 27th to watch a performance and it was amazing. the atmosphere was so alive and the service seemed good. so we booked a party for two days later (9 people, 2 tables). never doing that again. we arrived at 4:30pm and we found out no one even booked the table - the waiter just wrote the information down and never logged it anywhere. we got some basic chairs and tables but it was barely enough for the whole group. although the drinks were delicious, one person from the group asked the waiters to sing happy birthday, as it was for a birthday. they refused because apparently ‘they don’t do things like that’. next thing we know, they start singing happy birthday to someone else. i really do not understand the bias in this situation. this lounge only relies on the performers to lift up the general impressions. the service ruined the birthday....

This is the spot if you like amazing cocktails and want that Ibiza party vibe !! The venue is laid out well with a stage where we saw a live singer one evening on a central stage and then you have a direct beach access and there is a little decked area to the side of the DJ booth. The drinks are clearly made by a good mixologist the balance of the cocktails were perfect and they have good premium beers on tap. The service was in the most good but we did have long wait times for drinks to arrive and on two occasions were got asked if we had paid after we had already paid but we put that down to it being very busy and them not having enough staff on those particular days. Disappointing how much this bar has declined in only a few years. We came to Sunset Lounge a few years ago and had a great experience. It had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and best of all, live music most nights. On our most recent visit we were disappointed the love music had been stopped and been replaced by very generic-sounding club music. The staff weren't very friendly, but the cocktails we had were still pretty good.

The bar definitely needs some work as the cushions and chairs were looking very worn and stained, parts of the menus weren't even readable, and some of the glass on the beachfront was broken. Hopefully, on our next visit, some improvements will have been made as it was one of our favourite bars a...
