Myself and my wife have been here a few times and most of the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately our latest trip ended on a sour note. Our food initially came out at the same time, I had ordered the chicken burger and her the fajitas (which she loved). I bit into my burger and the thin plastic sheet that it's packaged in was fried onto the burger too and I only realised once I'd swallowed the bite. Naturally I would rather not consume plastic so sent it back and politely asked for the burger to be recooked. The second time it came out (my wife had already finished her food) the burger had far less avocado than before.
When I went up to pay I felt I was dealt with quite rudely as if I was the one causing problems when it's actively dangerous to serve customers plastic on a plate. I asked for the bill and when one staff member mentioned the burger was included I expressed some surprise as assumed it would be taken off completely.
She then said that the woman who served us mentioned that a 50% discount would he given to the burger. Once this was mentioned to said woman, she instructed the woman at the till to just give a 10% discount overall.
After paying and leaving, I realised that it was a worse deal than originally expressed. I went back to them saying that the 50% discount on the burger would have been better. The woman that served me then started to say that because I ate the burger I should pay. I explained that I ate the burger because I was hungry. She then, with a tone of passive aggressiveness took out some change from the til and handed it to me.
If they had just not charged for that burger I wouldn't be writing this, but the sour interaction with them at the end has brought us to write...

Title: Unacceptable Service at Savannah Beach
I'm compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience at Savannah Beach. What should have been a pleasant dining experience turned into a fiasco, primarily due to a waitress who was the epitome of unprofessionalism.
This waitress, a young woman in her mid-twenties with dark hair and short stature, was shockingly rude. Her demeanor wasn't just unfriendly; it was confrontational and utterly inappropriate for any service industry, let alone a reputed establishment like Savannah Beach.
Her attitude was more than just a minor service flaw; it was a complete breakdown of basic hospitality norms. It's bewildering how Savannah Beach, known for its service, allows such individuals to interact with customers. This incident not only spoiled our evening but also made me question the management's competence in staff selection and training.
In summary, unless you're willing to risk your evening being marred by unprofessional service, I'd suggest dining elsewhere. Savannah Beach needs to seriously reassess its staffing if it wishes to uphold...
Read moreHad an amazing time chatting with friends as it was a good 20 mins before we could order any drinks or even sit down. We tried to order food but were promptly told by the waitress that we had to wait.
And wait we did. Another 20 minutes in fact before we were given permission to order our food where the waitress second guessed some of the things that we wanted weren't on the menu . She apatheticly appologised later that she didn't actually know what was on the menu.
After an hour and a half of chatting and sarcastic comments with friends, drilling stares and streching our necks to get some service our food finally arrived only to be received with evil eyes from other customers because we were actually served something.
Food was alright but they definitely need more than...
