Bistrot del Mar — Restaurant in La Oliva

This is a place to go if you love fish and other seafood as its simply delicious.

I started with the Salmon and Advacdo Yartar which tasted incredible.

Although it was a generous portion it still felt lovely and light.

For my main I went for the ) Lobster Chitarra (which is a type of pasta).

Again, this tasted incredibly fresh and was by far the best lobster I've ever had in my life.

It was just beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection.

The pasta was perfectly al dente and got better with every bite and the sauce delivered a delicious sweet taste to the dish which went perfectly with the lobster.

I returned to this restaurant a few days later and had the same main but this time I went for oysters for my starter and they were magnificent.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you appreciate good food.

I can't wait to return for another...

I cannot recommend this place enough! My partner and I visited a few days ago. The restaurant is tucked a way in a beautiful square which has such a cosy, local atmosphere that makes it a pleasure to dine there. The staff are amazing - incredibly friendly and polite and very helpful when selecting from the menu. The food was INCREDIBLE! We had the spicy tomato and garlic mussells to start which were divine - such a refreshing change from the standard white wine sauce you usually find in most places. For mains, I had the clams in a lemon sauce and my partner the sea bass. Both were amazing! Mains were cooked to perfection, excellently presented, and the seafood so fresh and great quality. If you visit Corralejo you MUST visit Bistrot Del Mar - it is a spectacular find and should we return to Fuerteventura it will be the first place we'll...

Foreword: for some reasons, it is really hard to find good seafood in Canarias Island and we tried different places till this one!

We came here because it was a recommendation.. and we repeated it 3 times just because we had to flight back, otherwise we would repeat again 🤤

Food: super fresh and tasted. Combination of ingredients is high level. You can definitely find fresh seasonal seafood with great ingredients. Service & Atmosphere: you will be cuddled and very well recommended! Honesty has well is on the table as the owner will let you know what is the fresher and suggest you very well Huge selection of local wine! Price: absolutely fair price for the quality and the amount of food (and wine as well)

Huge bonus: dogs allowed!
