Puur — Restaurant in la Vila Joiosa / Villajoyosa

Extremely bad restaurant, very poor service. We waited 20 minutes to be served. At first, a waitress approached us and said her colleague would come shortly to take our order. When the colleague finally arrived, she told us she had to clean the table because it was full and reserved for the next guests.

There was no sign anywhere indicating the table was reserved. The table was clearly available and covered in empty glasses from previous guests when we sat down. She should have told us much earlier that it wasn’t available, because we lost valuable time for lunch — and now the Spanish fiesta break is starting.

Busy little restaurant, well worth the walk along the shoreline, or even a short drive out from Benidorm. Lots of salads or burgers, but the specials are top-notch We had seared tuna steak in teriyaki sauce, and chicken breast stuffed with bacon, pineapple and gorgonzola. Both absolutely excellent. Chips were freshly cooked, not reheated. Would normally add an extra star for bringing our little dog a bowl of water too! Minor criticism, the chicken was overcooked and dry, but the pineapple was fresh and helped with that. 11/10 would definitely recommend. We took our family—two adults, two kids—to PUUR and it was a fantastic experience! Villajoyosa has some great restaurants, but this beachfront gem truly stands out. The food was delicious; the kids raved about their burgers, and the chicken special with mushrooms and cheese was a highlight, especially with the sea breeze adding to the atmosphere.
