I confess I've had a variety of experiences in Spain that have made me reevaluate my expectations regarding questionable customer service, corruption, xenophobia, empty promises, lack of punctuality and falsely ingratiating interpersonal rubbish. That said, visiting this amazing restaurant was overwhelmingly positive. I came without a reservation when they were opening during the evening hours and the warm and elegant host somehow found a lovely table inside an impeccably decorated room. My dignified server, Alba, couldn't have been more patient or informative. The tapas are creatively and imaginatively presented but not haughty in the context of their gastronomic development. The service in particular was rude in particular from one member of staff, very abrupt, asking a few questions about the menu I felt sorry I had asked. The order was not completed correctly so the main courses were served such I ate after my family had finished, when brought my pork which had been rushed through the kitchen was medium rare verging on rare . I brought this to the attention of the waiter and was told i was wrong and it was medium. The dish was taken back and was pleasent enough, when we asked for a reduction in the bill the manager refused... we shall not be back... we have eaten in many other resteraunts thus week . In response to the owner's response. There are other places in the area that are equally busy and do not require reservation. I'm just saying it would be helpful for future customers to know that reservations are needed or recommended. When a restaurant is busy, it is also helpful from a customer experience perspective to suggest to the customer that he can come back after x amount of time, if he is willing to wait for a table. Or take reservations for next time. There are better ways to handle customer experience...
