Stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Place was reasonably busy & somewhere we'd not tried before. Staff were friendly enough & found the two of us a table. We both had meal of the day - this is the disappointing bit. The calamari was from the freezer, as were the fries. The salad was limp. Compared to other nearby restaurants we'd eaten at, this food was not as good as the surrounding establishments. A shame really.

El menú del día no vale para nada. La tortilla la de frigorífico de Mercadona, y los calamares los que ya vienen rebozados congelados. La ensaladilla, huevos con mayonesa y demás platos del menú también tienen sabores que inspiran a los del Mercadona, así que no me extrañaría que toda la comida fuera de allí precocinada. Es una estafa y me siento un poco engañado. 17,50 euros un menú en restaurante a pie de playa y que en vez de comida casera ofrezcan el listo para llevar del Mercadona .... No vuelvo aquí

Nice family-run lunch restaurant with fantastic location on the seafront in the old town of Villajoyosa. Great food, reasonable prices and not least very nice service. Highly recommend amazingly tasty spareribs and "butterfly prawns" if you want a lighter lunch. No place is an ice cold beer better...
