Buffet Casa Chen — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Can't recommend it. I ate a lot of Chinese food in my life, but it was one of the worst ever. Sure it's cheap, but it didn't taste at all. Most food was too dry, or with way too much fat, some tasted old and the fat used for frying it, also tasted old. The "chinese" noodles were made from spaghetti o.O The rice was dry, the fish and shrimps not fresh... There was literally nothing I liked. Never again. If you like too fatty and poorly seasoned food, that is stale and made without love but cheap - this is your restaurant. If you want to eat something good for you money, please avoid the "restaurant". And before I forget, prices are without tax! And for drinks, you have to pay extra, even if on the website is written "one drink is included". I am sorry for the owners, who try to make a living, but please put some more love in your food, don't fry anything to death and add less grease, and take a little more money, so you can use better and fresh ingredients. it will improve...

Nothing tastes great. The saucy meats are your best bet. Noodles and rice are tasteless. Grilled beef came out tougher than shoe leather. Sushi is a joke (it's 99% rice). But this is really everything you should expect from a Chinese buffet. Going here expecting anything different is your own fault. It's €6,50 but after the obligatory overpriced drink (even Chinese tea is €2,50) and the added tax that isn't included in the listed price, you're going to end up paying €9-10 anyway. Might as well spend that at any of the Canarian places all along the beach and enjoy far...

Leider der bisher schlechteste Service den wir bisher erlebt haben. Das Personal kann noch nicht mal englisch, das Fleisch war teilweise kalt, am Büffet ist nicht ausgeschildert was es zum essen gibt (grade bei fritierten sachen erkennt man nicht welches Fleisch es ist). Nachdem wir die Bedienung gefragt hatten was da für Fleisch liegt haben wir die Antwort "chicken" bekommen. Da aber zweierlei Fleisch im behälter lag wollten wir wissen was das andere Fleisch ist, bzw. Ob es auch chicken ist und haben nochmal nachgefragt. Anstatt uns eine Antwort zu geben lief die Dame einfach weg und ignorierte unsere Frage. Am Ende mussten wir dann noch 1.80€ mehr bezahlen als das, was der Preis für 2x Büffet und 2x Cola kostet. Der Kellner konnte uns das nicht auf englisch erklären warum. Wenn man am Strand arbeitet und internationale Kundschaft hat sollte man meiner Meinung nach über ein paar Grundkenntnisse an Englisch verfügen. Zu guter letzt ist uns dann auf dem Rückweg ein fetter orangener Fleck auf meinem weißen Kleid aufgefallen, der vom Stuhl stammen muss (wo anders bin ich nicht gessen, am Strand hatte ich es logischerweise ausgezogen) Diese Öl Flecken oder was auch immer da auf meinem Stuhl war konnte ich im hotel auch nicht auswaschen. Trotz gallseife und reisewaschmittel. Nie wieder dieses Restaurant!! Unserer meinung nach lieber etwas mehr geld ausgeben und ein anderes Restaurant aufsuchen. Spart...
