Rockabilly Burger Bar Las Canteras — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Excellent diner-style food. The service from the young lady was brilliant, she seemed genuinely passionate about the food on offer. The beyond chicken burger and the Montana fries were great, and the nacho starter was fantastic. The burgers themselves don't come on a brioche bun, they use more of an English-style barmcake or cob, I assume this is a Spanish or Canarian thing too but it was a great idea, especially when you've likely overestimated how much food you can manage to eat.

If you aren't eating on an entirely empty stomach, be warned that you get a lot of nachos and fries when they are ordered! Lastly the decor is great, a really nice, clean restaurant that looks a bit different to anything else...

If you like to eat a cold burger and very bad fries, this is the best place in Las Palmas. The waiter does not have time to serve the meal because his most important task is to play music on the bar even though there are three people in the restaurant. The kitchen rang the bell three times to say that our butger and fries were ready to be served, but the waiter didn't have time. 20 minutes after the first bell, my girlfriend came up to ask if this was our order, the cook replied yes and served a frozen burger and fries. after eating, the waiter can still ask if everything is OK with the food. I visited Rocabilly Las Canteras today at 4:30 PM, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. After waiting for 15 minutes without any service, I politely asked if the area we were seated in was being served. Instead of a helpful response, I was rudely told by the staff that she had just started her shift and that I should "calm down." I was met with a series of excuses, and when I mentioned that customers aren’t interested in internal problems, she bluntly said she didn’t care either and suggested we go elsewhere if we didn’t like it.

We ended up leaving and went to another branch of the same chain in Puerto, where we were greeted and served within one minute. The contrast in service was night and day.

If you're considering Rocabilly, avoid the Las Canteras branch at all costs. The poor attitude and lack of customer care here are simply unacceptable.

Hoy fui a Rocabilly Las Canteras a las 16:30 y mi experiencia fue increíblemente decepcionante. Después de esperar 15 minutos sin que nadie nos atendiera, pregunté calmadamente si el área donde estábamos sentados tenía servicio. En lugar de recibir una respuesta útil, el personal me contestó de forma grosera que acababa de empezar su turno y que debía "calmarme". Nos dieron varias excusas, y cuando mencioné que a los clientes no les interesan los problemas internos, me respondió que a ella tampoco le importaba y que podíamos ir a otro sitio si no nos gustaba.

Terminamos yendo a otro restaurante de la misma cadena en Puerto, donde fuimos atendidos amablemente en solo un minuto. La diferencia en el servicio fue abismal.
