Casa Agraine — Restaurant in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

First evening in Gran Canaria, after checking in, went to find a place to eat. Since it's Xmas, many places, were closed, this one was open but only that's the advantage. What is the point of being open if staff working in the restaurant will spoil all your mood. I understand that waitressing is probably not something what those people want to do but that doesn't excuse the behavior towards the guests.All conversations were happening in Spanish. Ordered a dish, there was no price on the menu, asked the waiter and he said it is the same price as the dish next to it on the menu. Further when they brought the fish, it seemed too salty ( I didn't say anything) but when the fish turned to be raw, we pointed to the waitor, he took the dish without saying anything but we understood they will remake it or something. When they brought the fish the second time it was just two slices of fish ( one of them taken from the dish before) and one of them still was raw, and on the first dish there were still some potatoes, on the second dish ( the remake one) they disappeared. Queso frito looks completely different from the picture on the menu but tasted OK. We didn't realize it was queso frito, the waitor treated us rude as if we work there or go there every day and we are supposed to know it is queso frito. Pan ajo - a pan with alioli on top but looking like super different from the menu again.

And in the end when we asked the bill (of course I didn't eat the raw fish that arrived in the remake dish), the bill was wrong just like all the visitors are saying, we have already read the reviews by then and checked the bill, but the thing is that we started to say what was wrong, and the waitor started to argue so we thought saving the nervous system and getting out of this place as soon as possible was the best even if the bill was wrong and we paid more for the really bad service and not tasty food. Overall very bad experience, oversalted raw fish and other dishes not looking how they are supposed to look, rude service and charged wrong but you cannot even say anything to...

To start the story with the finish: Tonight the owner of the restaurant screamed at us to leave at the end of the evening. If you want to have a nice and peaceful evening, please avoid this restaurant.

This is what happened. Me and my three friends were sitting in this restaurant tonight with the 4 of us. The food looked attractive so we sat down.

The first meal arrived 30 mins later after we ordered, which is fine, but then the second one 15 mins after the first, the third one my friend waited for in total of 1 hour because his meal was totally forgotten. The fourth one my friend never got because they let him know 30 minutes later. So, we all ate at different times and the fourth person ate nothing.

During the evening we expressed our dissatisfaction about the waiting and forgotten meals, and the waiter told us that "he is not a cook and it is not his problem."

In the end we asked for a discount because of the very bad experience, to which two people from the restaurant started being rude to us, and even told us to get out of the restaurant after paying.

The staff is extremely rude and aggresive in communication, especially the owner. The food was really nice I have to say, nothing wrong with the food, but the personnel is an absolute chaos that only cares about money.

I would never come here again, to pay money and get yelled at in the end of the evening. Save yourself the stress and read Google reviews before...

DO NOT GO. Worst restaurant I have been to in ages. Biggest scam ever. We asked for a little bowl of white rice to eat the grilled fish with. You would not believe if we said that we paid 15 euros for that. The staff said those are their prices. The only reason I paid was because the waitress was such a lovely lady. Since we were her table, and she provided us of excellent service, I did not want to make a fuss. Those prices are insane. Actually sent my chicken back because it was way to overcooked and dry. Glad I did after finding out that we had to pay 50 euros in total for a small bit of chicken, fish and rice. There are so many good restaurants at the boulevard. Stay away far from this one unless you love spending money on food and still being unsatisfied after. This restaurant will never become huge, if you open a restaurant just to make money, you will never win...
