Barko — Restaurant in Llançà

We really enjoyed having dinner at Barko! We got fish croquettes, grilled octopus, a whole grilled fresh fish (a snapper), and a pumpkin pie for dessert. Everything was delicious. The octopus, in particular was the best I've had. The snapper, as well, had a delightfully crispy skin. It really showed how good Barko's grill is.

The service was excellent, we were treated very nicely and everything was explained and well thought out.

The atmosphere is of a small specialized restaurant (fresh fish), and it's pleasant and comfortable. My only suggestion for improvement would be perhaps to play some music in the background, which would make it a bit more relaxed for discussion on a quiet evening.

We went there for dinner. The terrace is ok but cars drive close to it. We had a salad with mackerel (quality ok but 12.5€ was a bit expensive), squid croquettes (disappointing, they didn’t taste of squid) and we shared grilled turbot. The fish was good but they don’t write the price on the menu and they charged us 32€. No wine, no deserts, no coffee, 63€ (two people). Not worth it. I don’t...

Never go to this place! Terrace that neighbors laundry rooms and toilets of a nearby hotel. Average food overpriced. Unfriendly service and end bill cheating. Besides, they refused 2 moms with 2 5-6 year old kids right in front of my eyes. One of the worst...
