Sweet Fifties — Restaurant in Lleida

I could only order for takeaway because it was full, then and there I concluded the place must be good. Although the barista/waitress was struggling with many orders, her service was still good and quite fast. The place has this really nice woody American look; it was comfortable and warm(important right now since we're in winter season), it didn't feel crowded although it was full. My only complain comes with the products, in my opinion they're a bit too expensive for what they are. As I am showing in the picture, I ordered the brownie and a matcha frappe; before going I looked at what the people ordered the most and what had the best reviews, one of those things was the brownie, I saw a picture on google maps and saw a decently sized slice, yet when I got there it was quite small, and while it was good, it's definitely not a must-try, not for the quality(which again, while good, it's not outstanding) and neither for the price; I could really taste the matcha in the frappe, but while tasty the deal breaker was how sweet it was, maybe they could dial down the sugar a bit. Avui hem anat amb el nostre nadó, que anava amb cotxet i la cambrera ens ha invitat a marxar de la cafeteria. El motiu ha sigut que li impedia el pas per poder servir a les taules (ens volíem asseure a l’última taula, on no hi havia més taules darrera a qui molestar). He intentat buscar diverses solucions, i després de parlar-me malament davant de tothom, m’ha dit que no hi havia res a fer. En un to desafiant i remarcant que molestavem a tot arreu. Inclús els clients de les taules del costat ens han dit que havia sigut una mal educada i molt poc encertada amb les paraules, i el to de veu.

Hem decidit marxar de la cafeteria sense esmorzar, la cambrera no s’ha ni molestat en dir adéu, o en transmetre que li sabia greu la situació i que finalment haguéssim de marxar. En fi, poques ganes de treballar….
