Pan & Coffee — Restaurant in Logroño

The pastries are wonderful! The café con leche is excellent. You may want to order a large or be ready to order a second. The prices are very very reasonable; I suppose because there is a similar place on every block. The margin on the products must be very small; to me, it makes perfect sense to not accept cards here where an average sale is surely around 5 euros or a few coins. The service is efficient and quick. I thought maybe the cold, indifferent demeanor of the server (likely the owner) was representative of the people in this type of position in Spain, that one is just doing their job, and that is to dispense the product, but I read many other reviews (by people who wrote in Spanish) that comment on the unfriendliness of the servers. It makes me wonder if the person had dreamt of a different path in life. I've been in a few times now, and today I did receive an "hola". If every coffee shop can provide the same quality of coffee and pastries, then something needs to set it apart from others to compete; a little personal warmth (whether it's the customer's first or fiftieth time there) might make...

He ido 2 veces con una amiga y nuestras hijas. Café bueno y bollería bastante rica. La gente de barra es un poco antipática y la verdad que entres digas buenas tardes y no te respondan... y al irnos lo mismo... ni un adiós ni el típico gracias que dan en otros sitios cuando les llevas la taza a la barra. No se si volveré...
