"The basics youd expect from a restaurant with standards but not for tourists"
We went here for the last meal before we flew the next day , i wanted to treat my mother to a nice meal to finish the nice week away we had, all things seemed promising when we arrived , my Spanish failed me abit in the beginning but I saw some looks , I studied Spanish in school but in no way fluent .
We sat down and a large bread each was effectively thrown at us with very little oil then I went to signal for some more later on and completely ignored me or "busy" there was maybe 3 other tables that needed attention.
We only wanted to get a glass or 2 of wine especially since the bottles were 24/38 euro which is more than home prices . The amount they poured was tiny, I can see why the price of a glass was so low compared to the bottle.
My suckling pig was delicious with great chips and pedron peppers, my mother's pork chops was pulled pork which was nice but cold , her baked potato was also cold and when we asked about it they took the potato away the server came back with a hot plate with the potato on it, clearly microwaved. Plonks the plate in the table and leaves , you'd think they'd take the main table away and re plate the meal with the "new potato"
We definitely felt like "oh you are tourists" when we were being served, and observing how they were treating the locals I was quite disappointed. Larger glasses of wine, more attention, faster service etc. the basics youd expect from a restaurant with standards but not for tourists"
I was disappointed with the whole experience, I do not recommend here to anyone who's a tourist, locals please enjoy because they only give...

Entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a manager (? chief of staff?) with a rather condescending attitude. He brought us to a table and asked us - before we were even seated - what we would like to drink. We would have liked to get a drinks menu, but there wasn't one. So we asked if we could wait a little, while we checked the regular menu . He never came back to our table after that. A waiter asked us, eventually, if we would like to drink something, and brought us a small bottle of cava and a beautiful gin/tonic. The menu is really nice, so we chose a dish with baby eels (G) and artichokes with oberico ham as a starter and...
Read moreWe found this when we searched to a “traditional Spanish restaurant” as visitors to the area. Food was ok. But the service was poor. Waited forever for initial drinks after we’d ordered them and when they came they were wrong - as were the starters when they eventually arrived.
The “hostess” clearly had friends eating or was playing favourites to her British locals - which were pretty much all that was in the place - and paid scant attention to us (or anyone else).
In the end we found it was very overpriced for the standard of food when compared to other restaurants in the area.
The experience wasn’t awful, but it absolutely wasn’t a traditional Spanish restaurant and we won’t be going back...
