I discovered blossom in 2021 and since then i come here once every year, it is not hard to count that it was my third visit. I believe this is one of the top places is Malaga and I will definitely go there next year (or maybe even again this year, who knows). I give it 5 stars, but honestly after today’s experience it should be 4.5.
I made a booking for 2 ppl, we came few minutes late and there was still no table for us. I felt completely ignored for the first quarter and literally need to approach the waiter behind the bar to get any kind of attention. Taking under consideration the the restaurant has literally only 10 tables I find in unacceptable. We were standing right in front and no one even bothered to talk to us, not to mention offered a compensation beverage. Beside that service was decent, but with this prices i expect a bit more than decent. In fine dining restaurant i expect stuff to tell me something about dishes they serve, i also expect them to ask me if i want more wine when my glass is empty. Here i always had to fight to make them come to my table (as a reminder, 10 small tables, 2 waiters).
When it comes to food, I don’t know how they do it, but ceviche tastes better every year - and even two years ago was amazing, kudos for that. For the main dishes I tried duck breast and beef loin. Duck was a bit chewy and I fell it was lacking a crunch, id love to get some crunchy skin on top. I am not sure why the chef decided to serve breast, which is not as flavourful as thigh, especially since there were not a lot of different flavours in that dish. Selery puree as a side was amazing, but well, thats just a side.
Unfortunately the beef loin situation was similar, great side dish, but the loin was just all right. There was no crust on the outside whatsoever and I literally believe i can get better quality loin at my local butcher store. One can have same level, or even better stake at many other places in Malaga, the only things that distinguish it was a better side dish and plating, but im not sure if its enough.
Desserts were just better before. Ganache was like a poor version of ganache they served last year, apple pearls were fine and very lite what i really liked, but far from the poached pear i ate here last spring.
It turned out a bit bitter as for a five star review, but I really hope next time I come here ill be mind blown - same way i was in 2021.
P.S. there was a position in drinks menu “white vermouth” what makes me excited cause i thought its some special twist on a traditional vermouth (like red and white sangria). It turned out it is martini blanco - what would be huuuge disappointment, luckily waitress repeating our order said “martini” so we had an opportunity to change our order. I think it is misleading and they should just write its martini since home made vermouth is a big thing here.
To sum up, I still gave 5 stars, but it is more like a note for 3 years combined. This year was the worst (except ceviche) but I i still have high hopes for this place. Tasting menu with wine pairing costs 115 €, i would love to try it, but after today I am not sure if...

Malaga, a city known for its al fresco dining options, where the vibrant spirit of outdoor dining permeates the air. Our intentions were set on savoring the open-air ambiance, but fate had other plans, guiding us to a place called Blossom, where our reservations led us indoors. Surprisingly, this unexpected turn of events became a blessing in disguise, granting us a unique perspective into the culinary symphony unfolding before our very eyes.
Seated comfortably indoors, we were treated to a front-row spectacle, witnessing the skilled hands of the staff as they orchestrated the creation of intricate dishes throughout the night. This captivating behind-the-scenes glimpse allowed us to appreciate the art of teamwork in the kitchen, reminding us of the collaborative effort that lies behind every exceptional dining experience.
In anticipation of the culinary delights to come, we embarked on a journey of flavors, opting for the fish of the day and the tantalizing ceviche. Each bite was a revelation, a harmonious union of textures, flavors, and thoughtfully curated ingredients. The dishes were a testament to the chef's mastery, delivering a symphony of taste that danced on our palates.
But it wasn't just the taste that captivated us; it was the artistry of presentation that transformed each dish into a work of beauty. Vibrant colors and exquisite shapes adorned our plates, creating not only a culinary experience but a moment of reverence for the food and its origins. It was a feast for the eyes, as well as the taste buds.
And let us not forget the grand finale—the desserts. Indulging in both offerings, we discovered a realm of sublime sweetness. The apple dish graced our senses with its subtle nuances, while the ganache took a more assertive stance, captivating us with its bold flavors. It was a symphony of sweetness that left us with an insatiable desire for more.

If you are in Malaga and want to treat yourself, book a table at this fantastic place!
Thank you for the great experience blossom team!
In detail: The dinner was a celebration for a 25th wedding anniversary, and the dinner didn't disappoint.
We started off with a great gesture from the house and was then served the grand menu including wine pairing.
The house did everything they could to treat us well and was very professional and at the same time very personal and talkative.
The food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was amazing, portions were well balanced and we left with full belly and a smile. There is a good variety of fish and meat in the menu and the dessert tops everything off nicely.
The wine: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wines were great, some could be a bit challenging, however when paired with the food, they became included into the meal and changed notes completely, creating a combined great experience.
The service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service was outstandingly good. Proffesional and always had an eye on the table without you noticing it. Good explanation of the food and wines as well as the place and their history.
The atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The place is small, but very nicely and warmingly styled. Space is used vicely and you feel that every small piece has its place and has been thoughtfully chosen.
The price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Some might see it as an expensive place, but for the amount and qualtity of food, wine and service you get, the price is more than fair
Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food is some of the best I have had, and I have tried over 10 Michelin and bib gourmand places The wine pairing is also one of the best I have had so far, every wine was thoughtfully chosen and the good wine was served decanted. The service was sublime, Proffesional and personal.
Thank you for a...
