I live in Barcelona and eat excellent food on a regular basis, but the dining experience I had here is one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. The service was a breath of fresh air as the owner was absolutely attentive, kind, informative and helpful. He seemed genuinely happy to move between the three tables of the restaurant to help everyone make the most out of their respective meals. With only three tables, the entire experience is like having a lovely family dinner with people you don’t know. Everything we ordered was excellent, but of course, the smoked fish was the star. The flavor was so delicate and the preparation with a shot of vodka was such a memorable touch. The flamequin and potato pancakes were also flavorful and nicely prepared. 🌱 My sister is vegan and they had some options for her and were able to make some modifications to a few dishes which was super nice of them. Now we’re just praying they’ll indulge us by making pelmeni with vegetables instead 🤪
Other than the vegan dishes, we ordered, we had the two tuna plates (We 🧡 the “Malaga style” one with the sweet wine sauce).
The pelmeni were also super nice and really well made.

Daniel, who co-owns the place with his wife Natalia, was very a generous and entertaining host. The restaurant is a small, intimate space with about 4 tables. The food was incredible. He smokes his own fish so we shared a plate to start, absolutely delicious, very light but so very good. This came with a shot of vodka that we drunk the 'Russian' way.
