We visited Tasca Láska a week ago during our vacation in Andalusia. Before dining at this restaurant, we had been to many others, and the same was true afterward. I’m not sure if we simply made poor choices, but Spanish cuisine in the local restaurants didn’t impress me at all. It wasn’t until we dined at Tasca Láska, thanks to the team led by the owner herself, that our perception completely changed. Only here did we realize how excellent Spanish cuisine can be. Every dish we ordered was better than the last.
The foie gras melted wonderfully on the tongue, followed by the best salmorejo we had during our entire trip. Then came the absolutely divine and unrivaled pil-pil shrimp, with such a delicate touch of garlic that even a vampire would fall in love with it. On the owner’s recommendation, we tried the grilled octopus (one of the best we’ve ever had), followed by bread topped with oyster mushrooms, pork, and sauce, which I could eat by the ton, and finally, the perfect ceviche with fresh fruit. The only downside was that it wasn’t summer, so I couldn’t enjoy it on a seaside terrace.
My partner ordered dessert, and I decided to try a croquette, as I had never had one before. How disappointed I was to later realize during our travels that no croquette would ever compare to my very first one from Tasca Láska. They truly make the best croquettes across four Andalusian cities (Málaga, Granada, Córdoba, Sevilla)! And the pavlova? Pure heaven on a plate!
Beyond the food, I must highlight the service and the beautiful interior with its tasteful decor. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and efficient—exactly how it should be in every restaurant. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, Zuzana, who personally took care of us throughout the evening. She guided us through the menu, recommended wines, and shared the story of her life, making the experience even more special. Never before in a fully booked restaurant have I felt like I was the only guest.
We would like to say thanks to all the members of the Tasca láska team. It was truly exceptional experience, and a special thanks to Zuzana for creating such a warm and welcoming place. If we ever return to Málaga, it will be primarily to visit Tasca Láska once more and savor REAL Spanish cuisine, bursting with freshness, locality, and love.
Tasca Láska, you...
Read moreWe are totally disappointed about the service, food and management of this restaurant! Obviously the waiter lied. The manager ignore the truth and even did not make any apology!
We were treated unfriendly and unfairly! We waited waited for making a reservation although the waiter he was not busy not at all, this is absolutely not nice! 2ndly, we came, all the 2 ppl tables were free, we choose a tableA to sit down, which was not decorated, obviously it was not reserved( compare to other had been well decorated), everyone can see on the pics. But the waiter just kicked us off, we were forced to sit to table B, which is in front of the door! 20 minutes later, there were another couple came, they also sit in table A as they did not see any signage of “ reservation “, they were also forced to sit in somewhere else, but not in front of the door, the lady was angry and argued, in the end she and her husband were arranged to sit back to table A! Is that table really reserved?! Are we too nice to be handled fairly?! We ordered Sangria, especially noted waiter with only 1 piece of ice, however, he just totally forgot, we got a lot ice inside; we asked to remove these ice away, there was only half left, the waiter saw it but he did not fill it up, and we paid full price! Are we too nice to be handled fairly?! Nobody apologies to us but ignore and lying. When every detail goes wrong we had to leave, and waiter appeared, he even didn’t make apology. Even schlimmer war, the awful experience really brought us bad mood, we did not see the beautiful evening in the old city, and we did not take any other food laterly! This is the only awful experience we had in Malaga, what a pity! Plus food flavour tasted not comparable to the other nice restaurants, it’s depending. Don’t recommend this place not at all. It is really...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! 🍽️🍷
The interior decor was nothing short of amazing, with an abundance of greenery that gave the place a refreshing and vibrant atmosphere. 🌿 The added bonus was the staff, who not only provided impeccable service but also spoke perfect English, making us feel right at home. 🗣️🌟
Now, let’s talk about the stars of the show: the Paella and Sangria. The Paella was a seafood lover’s dream, loaded with an impressive variety of fresh seafood that left our taste buds dancing with joy! 🦐🦑🐟 And let’s not forget the Sangria – it was the perfect complement to the meal. 🍹
Speaking of the staff, they were not only friendly but also proficient in English, which made the whole dining experience even smoother. Their attentiveness added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. 😊👍
Cleanliness? Check! The restaurant was really tidy, which is always a reassuring sign. 🧹👌
Now, here’s a fun fact: The Paella is served in a huge cast iron pan that comes straight from the fire, and let me tell you, it’s a feast for the eyes! The portion size is incredibly generous – it’s like getting a double portion per person. So, bring your appetite! 🥘🔥
Would I recommend this restaurant to others? Absolutely! It’s a must-visit spot, especially if you’re a fan of delicious Paella and friendly service. 🌟
But if I had to choose a favorite aspect of our experience, it would have to be the Paella itself. It’s a true culinary masterpiece that you don’t want to miss. 🍽️ The only drawback is active road which is right next to restaurant.
So, if you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and indulge in this culinary delight. You won’t be...
