It's easy to understand why at the time of writing this place is rated 5 STAR after 50 reviews; great food, reasonable price and lovely staff! We had the Rukula burger which is delicious and comes with some thick fries (aka potato chips). They use the same burger as other non-vegan places (no names!!) but seem to make it better where it doesn't taste like rubber, well seasoned with a delicious sauce. Also had the Rukula burrito which is heavy on the salad but hits the spot. Some outdoor seating but not much, would love to see some more as the location is good not too far from the stadium. Will definitely be back, so far all vegan places in Malaga have been disappointing so this place made us VERY happy! Would recommend it to any vegan/vegetarian folk visiting the city. Note for the owner; an English menu would be nice, a dash of sauce on the plate would also be good for the burger/fries/burrito because it's so delicious. See you again soon,...
Read moreFantastic vegan option only a stones throw away from the heart of Malaga. Plethora of options which is always very exciting. I ordered the tofu cheese fries and the chicken Cesar burrito. The tofu cheese fries were exceptional, a large portion too. The chicken in the burrito was some of the best fake meat I’ve had. I wouldn’t say the flavours were anything exceptional, but that could have just been the items we chose. It still hit the spot though as a hearty meal with good fake meat and bread, and would definitely recommend going out of your way.
The dessert was a bit underwhelming, we ordered the lotus cake and the cheesecake ice cream. Flavour of the ice cream was good, not super creamy. The cake wasn’t that moist or flavourful. Would recommend going elsewhere for dessert or ordering other items on the menu - unless we just caught them on a bad day.
Service was excellent and they were open late! A bit pricey. Ample...
Read moreProbably the best vegan burger that I had. I had the Mexican burger which has just the right balance of jalapeño and sauce on the burger patty. The burger patty itself tastes authentically homemade and not like one of the many brands of vegan burgers that you find these days in supermarkets. The burger holds the middle between a gourmet classic burger and a Sloppy Joe (yes, eating it gets a bit messy). It is served with either coleslaw or French fries, and that side serving at first sight seems a little skimpy but turns out even that was too much. Unfortunately they had no deserts this night. The Americano coffee was excellent. What I found a bit of an obstacle to overcome to go in is that it pretty much looks like a take out restaurant and they only had a tent covered terrace to sit down which was empty. The terrace is not so bad after all and is heated in the winter. Definitely recommended, and I'll be...
