My fiancé and I visited the museum on a Monday afternoon and there was no wait (although we've purchased the tickets in advance to be sure). It's a small museum, but filled with interesting information about wine origins, making, aging, differences, etc. Although everything inside is written in Spanish, the gentleman at the reception has immediately pointed us to a QR code should we want to listen to the guide in another language, and the museum's Wi-Fi connection from the moment we've entered. Two wine tastings are included, and you can ask for a certain taste if you don't like sweet wine for example, or any other as it's taken into consideration. We left with a bottle of limited edition of 50 year old PX... Very nice! A lovely experience overall, so a big thanks to the team at Málaga Wine...

Poor experience: I would not recommend it. The audio guide is not clear. The text was read by people barely knowing English. Little to see, mostly old bottle labels (sadly, not much information provided). The wine tasting experience was bad for our group. The first wine we got to taste was very oxidised. The bottle clearly stayed open for weeks. The second wine did not have a label on it, and it had horrible taste. Except that, not mutch to see for 7 euros. The only reasons it deserver 2 stars are: nice display of the grape vine growing into a rocky terrain has bathroom the place is newly built but smells like an old cellar

In my opinion, this seems to be a waste of EU money (if my hunch is correct and it was built...

A very quaint museum with tons of antique wine memorabilia. The staff is very knowledgeable about the local wine. It costs 5€ and includes 1or 2 wine tastings. I went on a day it was free and I paid 1€ for each wine I wanted to taste. There's also a small gift shop where bottles of local wine can be purchased. I only gave it 4 stars because without the audio guide you won't understand unless you speak Spanish. You'll need to download before because there isn't wifi here.

This wine museum offers an excellent audio guide which provides the visitor with the history of wineries in Spain, focussing on the different Málaga wine denominations, as you visit the displays in the building. Interactive and interesting. Their extensive collection of stunning antique labels and raisin containers is amazing. Entry to the museum includes a wine tasting at the completion of the tour. Small gift shop features several wines from the Málaga region.

Great stop for all wine enthusiasts! Wonderfully curated collection of historical Malaga & surrounding area wine related information artifacts and wine making equipment/processes. They have English translations available throughout the exhibit along with a verbal translation that you can listen to on your phone (walks you through the exhibit). Self guided tour, that ends with a tasty wine sampling!
