As it was close to the retiro park and reading positive reviews about this place I went there with my wife for lunch around 3pm. The place was tiny and owners didn't know English. We went for set lunch menu. The starter was a piece of meat which tasted like it was there for years and it was warmed up. For the main one we went for chicken madras. How surprised we were where we were given chicken korma instead. We tried to pass the message to the owner that we didn't order that, but they were insisting it was chicken madras . It was pointless discussing it as they didn't know a single word in English. Besides, the quality was as low as the starter, it was very bad. The portion of the rice was tiny. We left the place annoyed and hungry. Having eaten in tens of Indian restaurants in the UK, this was the...

Extremely terrible restaurant, would never recommend anyone to eat here. We booked an offer via Tenedor and reached exactly 14 minutes late. When I was 4 mins away from the restaurant a lady called me asking where I was.

I told her I was just about to reach and she rudely said if you don't reach in 5 minutes we will cancel your booking.

When we reached (again just 14 mins late) she said if you've booked an offer you should show up on time. I said yes sorry we got late by only 14 minutes she kept going on and complaining. I cannot believe someone like her is working in the service industry.

The biggest surprise? The restaurant was empty.

We decided to leave even if it meant being hungry a little while longer.

AVOID this restaurant...

Decent Indian restaurant with reasonable prices. I normally have low expectations for Indian restaurants in Madrid but this one was pretty good. Nothing to necessarily write home about though. The onion bhaji wasn't at all like any onion bhaji I'd ever had, it was OK but incredibly salty. They have a few vegetarian dishes and 2 ones that are vegan. The rice is now vegan though the menu says it contains dairy, the server confirmed that it did not (they had changed their menu). Very nice service (and vegan knowledgeable) and cozy atmosphere. Wouldn't come out of my way for it again but still solid food if you...

First time and last time: cramped and not very tasty. The welcome was a bit arduous as the staff could not find The Fork booking but finally did. Then it was a 35 minutes wait until we were served and we noticed also later arrivals were served ahead. King prawns tandoori had nothing of king, just regular prawn and not particularly fresh or tasty. Chicken tikka massala was rather tasteless as were the other dishes and even the kulfi had a strange taste. We tried this location but will not come back. Oh, one more thing, error on the bill in restaurant's favor, that was corrected after we indicated it.

Saludos
