My boyfriend and I just arrived Madrid. We had a long trip and didn't feel like going to the town center for dinner. We ended up going this one after reading the good reviews. Man, we weren't disappointed!! The dinner experience we had was very pleasant. The restaurant wasn't too busy. We had potato croquettes, paella mixta, bread pudin, tiramisu, and a few drinks. The bill was around 45€. The amount of food was WAY more than we could finish. This is not a fast food restaurant, it took 30min to cook the seafood rice. We enjoyed people watching and the music. One waitress speaks English and she was extremely nice. The tiramisu was a great way to finish the night.

Found this small local place in Madrid, doesn't look like much from the outside but actually pretty spacious inside. I had the ox tail - first time trying it ever - and honestly it was really good. Hard to compare since I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'd definitely eat it again. Also tried the pig ear, cut into pieces, very Spanish style, and actually tasted way better than I expected. Prices are fair and portions are big, so be careful not to overorder. It's easy to end up with too much food. Nice spot if you want something traditional without spending too much.

Went in lured by glowing reviews—left with a prescription for blood pressure meds. The daily menu was a festival of grease: fried eggs swimming in oil, mayo slathered on everything, and fries as the universal side dish. We tried the steak, which had decent flavor, but by then our arteries were already waving white flags. The decor didn’t help—think dim lighting meets dated furniture. Not exactly the Mediterranean charm we were hoping for.
