Restaurante Machupicchu III — Restaurant in Madrid

I’ve dined at this restaurant twice—my first visit was excellent, but the second was a complete disappointment.

Of the four dishes we ordered, only the fish ceviche and one other dish were very tasty, but the rest were bad. The yuca was drenched in oil, as my friend told them they were not good initially and they just refried them and sent them back. The chicken wings ceviche tasted awful, as if the wings had been pre-fried and reheated in the microwave. The noodles with beef were nearly inedible—the beef was extremely tough, and the noodles were overwhelmingly salty from too much soy sauce.

At the end of the meal, a friend raised our concerns with the waiter, but despite the poorly prepared food, we were still charged the full price.

First time I’ve been here was last week and everything was amazing. However tonight was totally different.

We ordered four dishes: Fish ceviche – The only thing that was actually tasty. Yuca Fries – Completely soaked in oil. We asked them to fry it more, but it was still way too greasy. Chicken wings ceviche – Honestly, it tasted bad. The wings seemed like they had been fried earlier and just reheated. Noodles with beef – Way too salty from all the soy sauce, and the beef was so tough it was nearly impossible to chew. Everything was mentioned to the waiter, but despite the disappointing food (except for the ceviche), we were still charged full price. Really...

Estuvimos cenando anoche y la comida en general estaba muy rica (el lomo saltado un poco seco) y tienen bastante variedad. Lo que no es de recibo es el servicio de camareros que tienen. Además de la lentitud cuando inicialmente solo había una mesa más y la nuestra dentro, tardaron casi media hora en venir a tomarnos nota del postre y no había prácticamente nada de lo que indicaban en la carta, tardaron otros 15 minutos en traernos la cuenta, nos vienen directamente con el aparato de cobro con tarjeta sin habernos ni enseñado el ticket porque según ellos primero se paga y después se imprime el ticket… que si queríamos nos enseñaba el ticket en la máquina (cosa que obviamente le pedimos), que te cobren sin haber visto el detalle no lo he visto jamás en ningún restaurante. Por otra parte, pedimos un lomo saltado (en carta “tacu tacu de lomo saltado”) y un minuto después nos dimos cuenta que en la carta había también lomo saltEado en otra sección, me acerqué para especificar que era el tacu tacu y me dice uno de los camareros que la comanda se había mandado ya a cocina y que es imposible de modificar porque ese plato se le cobraría a él (decir que nos tomaron nota a mano en un bloc de notas y él me estaba enseñando una tablet en la que en menos de un minuto ya había mandado toda la comanda de 4 platos…). Éramos tres comensales y cuando el mismo camarero que nos tomó nota trajo los platos, como una de mis amigas había ido al servicio, nos pusieron solo dos platos…

¿Lo recomendaría por la comida? Sí. Pero tener que aguantar semejante despropósito de servicio no...
