We arrived early and managed to get a table without booking. We saw lots of people after us turned away as it was full. The food was really, really good. You are paying for quality here rather than quantity, that is reflected in the price . The wine menu was also extensive and the prices so much cheaper than the UK.

What lets the place down is service. I don’t know if they were short staffed but they didn’t have enough waiting staff for the number of tables. I spent around 15-20 minutes trying to catch anyone’s eye to get our bill. And we resorted to physically waving our card and the bill in the air for 5 minutes to pay it as we’d failed again in catching anyone’s eye. A real shame as it ended our visit on a...

So glad we went to El Raco, the service was excellent, but the steak I had was one of the best I've ever eaten. Cooked to perfection; juicy, flavourful and had great garnish of roast red pepper, asparagus and potatoes.

My son got the Nachos and they were perfect, he was very impressed.

My wife got the Asparagus vegetarian dish. I'd recommend a vegetarian to maybe order two of the vegetarian dishes as they are quite small, but delicious too.

The deserts were amazing too, not overly sweet and good portions.
