We arrived at 11:30 PM and there was no one there to let us in, so we called the phone number on the door, a surprised owner answered, I wasn't sure they were expecting us even though it had been booked for a couple of months, and said someone would be there soon. ||Thankfully a Spanish-speaking man came and let us in, took photos of our passports, and showed us to our room, due to the language barrier we were not told anything else, so had to work out how to use the air-con, TV, cooker, etc. The aircon was just in the living room which was fine as it was rarely needed but worked well.||Everything improved from there, In the morning we met and were greeted by the owner, sorted out a kettle, and exchanged the microwave as the one we had didn't work.||The apartment was very nice for the price, Our room #206 had an AWESOME view of the beach and sea, it was very spacious with a separate bedroom and nice bathroom, enough pans and utensils, a decent fridge, and lots and lots of cupboards for clothes.||The area is very quiet both inside and outside, there is a railway line very near but, We never really noticed the train noise while inside, there are a few small shops for food close by and a bigger supermarket about 30/40 minutes walk away. The shops, bars, restaurants etc are very close just across from the subway you walk through under the railway and road.||The only issue during our stay was the bed was very "Squeaky" every time you moved, for the last couple of nights I slept on the spare bed in the living room.||So in total, it was a great stay in a nice area with a large beach for a...
Read moreWe have stopped here twice now. "What you get is what you pay for". The location is excellent where you can experience amazing sunrises and sunsets. Some people slate this place due to lack of amenities - the cost is excellent for what is provided.||We had requested an early check and this was arranged for us.||The staff are always lovely and friendly||Our return flight was not until evening so a request of a late checkout was readily granted and we were even allowed access to one of the attic studios (that are not rented out anymore) to store our belongings and use if we wanted to - this was all greatly appreciated.||As this is based on the beach, it certainly suits beach goers||The manager in particular is so helpful||We will be returning here again next year||The accommodation is quite basic but ample for the two of us to prepare food etc (when we wanted to)||We only had a four night stop this time and even within this time we had fresh towels twice (this is great too)||If people want 5 star places they need to pay 5 star prices as this one us really...
Read moreI came here 11-18th September 2019. I gotta say I’ve no idea why it’s only one star. I think maybe because it’s a little old school, but I’d say it’s still very nice and lush. I got bed and breakfast, of course the breakfast is cold etc. Rolls, ham, cheese, croissants, that kind of vibe. Don’r expect a cooked full English. Not in England!! The air con is in the front room which is a shame I prefer to sleep with it. The couch isn’t a couch it’s really a bed... so i slept on that instead with the aircon. A great small balcony overlooking everything. And a small kitchen- ideal for cooking. There was plenty of utensils to use too. The location is great, located right next to the beach but also has it’s own small pool. Just by going in the tunnels under the train is a strip of shops and bars and food places less than 5 minutes away. Has wifi too! Look for sign in reception! Bathroom is great too, shower, sink, toilet, bidet, easy to use. ||Overall a great place to stay and unsure how it’s not...
