We arrived early and managed to get a table without booking. We saw lots of people after us turned away as it was full. The food was really, really good. You are paying for quality here rather than quantity, that is reflected in the price . The wine menu was also extensive and the prices so much cheaper than the UK.
What lets the place down is service. I don’t know if they were short staffed but they didn’t have enough waiting staff for the number of tables. I spent around 15-20 minutes trying to catch anyone’s eye to get our bill.
