We arrived early and managed to get a table without booking. We saw lots of people after us turned away as it was full. The food was really, really good. You are paying for quality here rather than quantity, that is reflected in the price . The wine menu was also extensive and the prices so much cheaper than the UK.

What lets the place down is service. I don’t know if they were short staffed but they didn’t have enough waiting staff for the number of tables. I spent around 15-20 minutes trying to catch anyone’s eye to get our bill. Exellent bar with an extensive list of local and Spanish wines, the majority of which are available by the glass at very reasonable prices. They have a small selection of sweet wines (port, Malaga, Moscatel...) also at very good prices. We didn't eat anything except a "mini" pa amb tomaquet with jamon iberico, which was big enough for the two of us for an evening snack. The ham was delicious. We had the octopus with mashed potatoes, shellfish melody, and tomato bread. The octopus and mashed potatoes were good, the octopus specifically was excellent. The mashed potatoes had a good flavor, but was a little too salty. The shellfish melody also had great flavor, but also a little on the salty side. The tomatoe bread was quite good.
