Stay away from this place on weekends. On weekdays it might offer a much better value with the touristic menu, but on weekends... We were there on a Saturday. The staff was polite on the surface, but... Our only option was full course menu, or à la carte. We weren't very hungry so we opted for the latter planning to order 2 entrées and one main dish to share. The owner argued this was not possible, and forced us to order the same main dish for 2 people. We at least wanted to order 2 different main dishes, but were again told that it was not possible. The food tasted average at best, a bit on the salty side, and we spended almost 70 euros for a lunch for 2 people (they also charged for bread and oil, which we did not order). Way too much for the quality offered and the total lack of flexibility. Never again! If you do want to go at all costs, reservation is recommended, because the place is...
Read moreThe paella on the menu was priced per person, and when we ordered, the waitress suggested it was suitable "for two" due to its size. Consequently, we assumed sharing one paella would suffice. However, upon receiving the bill, we realized it was 25€ per person with a minimum of 2 portions, totaling 50€ for a substantial serving. Although we couldn't finish it (the waitress suggested a doggy bag when ordered ), we'd prefer exploring more main dishes than committing to a large paella portion. We didn't capture a photo of the delicious 3-fish tartare, but the zucchini toast, while made with fresh ingredients, lacked seasoning. Regarding the paella, we're willing to pay more, but we'd appreciate a bit more lobster meat for the 50€ price tag for two. I'm not expecting half a lobster, but at least mentioning on the menu that it includes 2 lobster claws...
Read moreThe food was nice, waiters trying and doing a really good job to show the place as an elite restaurant but the real Spanish warmth was missing. No olive oil was added to the table just a small portion was placed in a small plate keeping in mind that bread and olive oil order cost two Euros ( so a cheap step from the place ).
The same cheapness applies to many aspect ( drinks portion ).
And the end the price was overrated, you can get the same quality in any other Spanish resturant without the posh look of the resturant.
Tldr: Pleasant dinner with overrated pricing and a sccent of cheapness...
