Ikra gastrobar — Restaurant in Marbella

Location on the boulevard is great and especially next to the playground which is nice with kids (although we dont see the playground).

Food is really bad in general, lazy cuisine and too much pretention for the skills in the kitchen. And this whole pretentious with their beautiful meal pictures on big screens has nothing to do with what you get in your plate. There is absolutely nothing gastro about this place.

Outside of the kids menu, we had a burger and the duck. The burger comes in an industrial bread, with a meat patty that is also straight from a bag, with some squared plastic cheese. Really 0 effort to actually cook! French fries were nice. The duck came with good ideas, typically an acidic berry jam, that goes really well with it, but the duck was over cooked and dry and the overall dish was badly done.

Service is ok, but nobody speaks good english nor spanish. And not a single smile or even a welcoming word... We...

Location is great, food is good, altough is true portions are a bit on the small side. We have been here twice and unfortunately the level of service has been failry poor both times: very slow , plates arrive one by one at different times, and the staff level of english or Spanish is unfortunately not enough: misunderstandings and missing orders happened both times we went. Also, a couple of smiles every now and then wouldn't hurt :) , altough they are polite and...
