If you want to be treated like trash, this is the place for you. If not, run far far away, they are rude and don’t have any hospitality whatsoever. We walked by around 12:30 on a Sunday and when greeted were asked “What do you want” I asked if we could have coffee and weee told that we could only sit at 2 high top wooden tables since they were fully booked and only serving food at the tables. There were 2 tables occupied and the entire place was empty. Their kitchen doesn’t even open till 13:00. My husband and I are both in the hospitality business. There are so many other ways they could have accommodated us for coffee that would have made us inclined to try the food. The manager basically followed us out to make sure we wouldn’t change our mind about leaving. They are not in the business of hospitality. They are rude rude rude and I’ve now encountered the worst service yet in Spain. Take your money anywhere else, might I suggest literally anywhere else. I had better service in a gas station where I was offered a toallita with my purchase of...
Read moreRIP OFF AND ADDING VAT TO THE MENU PRICES Food and environment is good, service was good. BUT, ridicously expensive and a total ripoff! When paying they claimed that service was not included and made me feel so bad that I gave 10% even though they already put a cover charge on the receipt. After leaving we checked the receipt again and noticed that they added 10% VAT to the prices in the menu, which is illegal according to Spanish law. We went back to claim this money, which I got after some arguing with the owner (she really knows that they are breaking the law, she gave up easily when confronted with the law text), and since I felt ripped off I also wanted the service charge back, which they refused to give. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here, not only for the ripoff but because they destroyed my last vacation day...
Read moreThe first time I visited here it was perfect. The second time was everything but perfect. It is always extremely busy so you need to book. We got our starter and wine quickly and then waited nearly 2 hours for our main course. It was getting cold and miserable but thanks to the live music and the dancing guests, we were entertained. The waiter was delightful and apologetic, but this was not really good enough. He said they were a chef short . They needed to give us a free bottle of the wine we were drinking, not the limoncello which is always given as free chupitos in Marbella anyway. The 2 salads which my friends had ordered, were average, nothing special, but my fish when it did arrive, was delicious. Maybe I was so hungary I would have eaten anything. A very expensive lunch and I will hesitate to go...
